There are so many ramen shops and these is definitely one of our top few favourite ramen brand that we would return again! Always satisfying our ramen cravings and so delicious!⠀

One of the 2 most popular fish soup stalls in Amoy Street Food Centre! It was a rainy and cold Monday morning and we are feeling for some hot soupy lunch so decided to drop by earlier to queue for 𝐇𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐞𝐞 sliced fish soup! Greeted with a super long snaking queue, we join the queue and surprisingly it moved very fast! We ordered for the medium size $7 soup and the soup was filled generously with lots of sliced fish! They uses 𝘉𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘨 fish and if you aren’t aware, not many stalls still uses 𝘉𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘨 nowadays. Each slice of fish were thickly cut and they are so fresh! Soup is very light, clear, and filled with the sweetness of fish, topped with some bits of fried garlic. We also ordered a bowl of white rice for $0.50 to goes along with it and it’s amazing FANTASTIC! Indeed one of the few best fish soup we ever had! ⠀

After much dilemma, we decided to try the Coffee flavour & Pandan Kaya! We enjoyed their Coffee flavour donut so much! Soft and not so sweet coffee flavour donut spread with some cream on top before sprinkling chocolate rice generously, covering the entire donut! Perfect combination! Pandan Kaya was pretty yummy too, there’s Pandan Kaya flavoured cream stuffed in the donut! Hadn’t had such a good donut in a while, pretty satisfying and we will be back to try their other flavours! There’s a few small sitting tables in the shop where you can grab your donut and a cup of drink and enjoy it slowly! 🍩☕️

We have heard lots of good reviews of 𝐋𝐨𝐨’𝐬 𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐞 and they were recently voted of of the best Hainanese Curry Rice by radio viewers of @love972fm ! We decided to make our trip there to try it for ourselves! Greeted with a long q of about 10 pax q during lunch time and surprisingly it’s not too hard to find a table at the coffeeshop as the cleaners clears the tables very promptly. Some of the popular dishes were sold out, like braised pork belly, curry chicken so we’ll probably have to make another trip there soon again! ⠀

Ordered 2 plates of rice, chap chye, pork chop, sambal sotongs and sweet sour pork, it cost $14 in total:) It was a spread and every dish was so delicious! Chap Chye were light, super soft and so flavourful. Sambal sotong comes with its own curry, and each piece were so tender! Pork chop were juicy and apparently it’s done the traditional Hainanese way, with biscuit crumbs as it’s crust, before deep frying and pouring sweet and sour sauce all over it! Sweet and sour pork were done perfectly too! Curry gravy all over our white rice were so good and fragrant with hint of coconut milk, it’s not too spicy and over-powering too! Satisfaction and very comforting!! ⠀

For Mon- Fri 1130am-2pm lunch, they serves affordable and value-for-money beef rice bowl ranging from $15-$88. Spoilt for choices, we finally decided to go with the Gyu Don that comes with generous servings of Grass-fed Striploin, amazing fragrant Truffle Shoyu and an onsen egg on the side! Beef quality is superb and portion is decent for its price, we’ve always enjoyed their quality rice bowl and definitely worth the calories! Super yummy! ⠀

It’s not our first visit, we’ve been here before and have always enjoyed their food! Worth for money and many dishes here are very tasty! Very homely and satisfying! ⠀
- Mini Wok Beancurd gravy is very appetising with a lil kick of spiciness in it, comes with minced meat, beancurds, prawns and a fried egg underneath! ⠀
- Salted Egg Brinjal is very special, deep fried crunchy brinjal coated with a light salted egg paste and topped with some floss! ⠀
- Curry Paste Venison is amazing addictive!! Soft, tender texture and curry paste gravy is so fragrant, goes so well with a plate of white rice! ⠀
- Sambal Kang Kong is delicious and not too spicy, and oily too! Super shiok! Dislike some other sambal Kang Kong out there that are just soaked in chilli oil. ⠀

Upon ordering, the staff will inform that this drink has to be drink on the spot as there’s no cover for it. Aromatic oolong tea topped with their signature creamy cheese foam, and 3 original flavoured mini mochi in a skewer sitting on top! We love the Lite Sugar version that’s perfect for our liking!
