Nostalgic Flavours Island creamery is definitely one of my go to places for good locally inspired ice cream. Light and sweet, their ice cream doesn’t leave me feeling guilty after falling into sweet temptation. Teh tarik is a must try flavour!

Hot Fudge Sundae While their Mudpie and Mini Baked Alaska remain as my all-time favourite, occasionally I will still fall back on a simpler (albeit more expensive) Hot Fudge Sundae (S$7.50). Typically served with their Cookies & Cream and Reverse-O flavours, I managed to customise with two scoops of ice cream of my choice. And don’t worry about what combination is nicer, as the staff would be there to offer some suggestions. Now, the part that is most controversial is that mountain of whipped cream at the top. Not everyone appreciates whipped cream obviously, but part of that layer above the brim is actually the ice cream, so don’t be deceived by the “dressing” on top.

Not Fantastic Burpple Beyond deal was limited to only crab and seafood (mix of crab + lobster) rolls. I tried the Maine-style seafood roll. I liked the bread which was toasted and buttered, but I felt they could be more generous with the amount of lobsters (only 2-3 pieces in the roll). For $25 it is very pricey but thankfully we had the deal so it wasn’t so bad.

Lobster Rolls used beyond 1f1 deal and opted for the maine-style lobster rolls this time! very tasty and decent portion of lobster 😋 mentaiko version definitely worth trying if you’re a fan 👍🏻

Oh Yeah. Before I managed to find a day to go their Telok Blangah Drive outlet, they opened a branch just right next town. 🤗🤗🤗 Takoh Belle is the best cake out of all that I've tried, because the match of tastes and textures is really good. It doesn't feel like you are simply eating the actual dessert shaped like a cake. HAHA.

Ondeh Ondeh Cupcake 3.9 Pretty damn pricey. Is what I thought before I bit into it. Absolutely worth every cent lol. Cream was light and gula melaka was very strong. Cupcake was soft but does not disintegrate, still has some sort of bite which was nice, enveloping shredded coconut. It's a perfect ondeh ondeh cupcake

Seafoody And Umami Goodness Hidden cafe nestled outside of Changi City Point. Got the linguine americane ($24++)- seafood reduction of lobster and crustacean broth. Very umami and great for seafood lovers!! Seafood was fresh but portion is a tad small. Would eat it again!

Soya Sauce Chicken I have tried it b4 as we think that it's meh tbh due to soggy soya sauce on the chicken and also left it too long for dinner time.

Went to @ofcsingapore for their chicken and beers. We ordered 2 type chicken, crunch chicken and Yang Nyeom Chicken. We all prefer the Yang Nyeom chicken more, the chicken is tender and juicy inside, while outside crispy and coated in sweet spicy sauce. Beside the chicken, we tried the assorted fish cake soup and Tteokbokki. The Tteokbokki is chewy and quite spicy (good pair for beer). They do have promotion happy hour till 8pm for their beer ($13 for one pint hoegaarden). 💰$27 for half Yang nyeom and $24 for half crunch. $20 for Assorted fish cake and $15 for Tteokbokki. 📍Oven & fried chicken. 17 chun tin road #shootoniphone

Pork Steak 💵: $13.90 📈: 7/10 🤔: The pork steak was quite juicy, however, it has a slight sweetness to it, so it wasn't my favourite. Love the noodles which were reminiscent of the mala sweet potato noodles which were super chewy! Comes with a chockload of pepper, so if that's not your thing then you might want to order something else!

30CM Steak Frites 💵: $21.90++ 📈: 6/10 🤔: Was super wow-ed by the finger steak so we wanted to try this, but I think I’ll just stick to the finger steak next time. Steak was slightly drier and tougher than the finger steak, and fries were just normal frozen fries. Still an okay dish, but I’d definitely recommend the finger steak over this. Hot Plate Bibimbap 💵: $12.90++ 📈: 5/10 🤔: Didn’t really like this as the flavours didn’t seem to go that well together, but then again, this wasn’t their signature item so I shouldn’t have expected much. Might have been tastier if they added more red pepper paste. Won’t recommend this, the rest of the food I’ve had there fared way better! Jimmy Monkey Cafe🧀 Went to Jimmy Monkey Cafe last week and ordered a Grilled Cheesy Crusty ($16), Baked Maple Chipotle Chicken Wings ($18), Bacon Mac n' Cheese Quesadilla ($22), Prawn Aglio Olio ($25), and an Eggplant Moussaka ($23)!😇 Filling for 5 pax~ Overall ratings 7.5/10!😄 Cheesy Crusty and Wings were good, Eggplant Moussaka was delicious, but Alio Olio was quite spicy and not really feeling the Quesadilla😅 Would head back again for the Eggplant Moussaka tho💯

brunch/one-north Jimmy Monkey serves great food and coffee, though being an Australian-inclined café the choice are limited to bread-based western. Here is the all day sourdough and egg with additions of bacon and wilted spinach. Great crispy bread, decently-runny egg (adjust the seasoning by yourself as the egg by itself is not heavily seasoned), crispy bacon. They offer 4 different spreads and I chose vegemite. Wholesome brunch indeed!

.Elia Had my lunch at .Elia on Deepavali and the food is great. I liked it that the chef got the flavours accurately right and it's amazing that they can make such wonderful flat white. The coffee is adequately creamy and sweetness well balanced without me adding sugar. Really awesome! Three Little Pigs 🐷 ($15.90) Under a new management, they now have an extensive new menu with rice bowls and even pasta that's made in-house! My pick of the items we ordered would be this rice bowl featuring five breaded pork cutlets coated in a fragrant curry sauce. The tonkatsu was tender and fried to perfection but I really wished there was more of that yummy curry sauce which went really well with the garlic fried rice below. If you're rushing, you might want to note that our orders took a long time to reach us (teething issues maybe?), so plan again if you're dropping by.

Chocolate Molten Cake This charming bistro/cafe has the perfect atmosphere for brunch, from the concrete counters to the natural light streaming in. This molten lava cake was not the richest I've tried, but makes up for it with its moist texture and unique notes of basil (sounds strange but it works). Wish it were slightly bigger because chocolate is never enough!!

tomato sukiyaki hamburg claypot preferred this to the popular cheese hamburg! because the fan was literally blowing in our face, the warm tomato soup was especially comforting & hearty! each set comes with free flow eggs and salad omg we took all the scrambled eggs on the counter💀💀 i also really liked the coffee jelly as it reminded me of creme brûlée with a shot of espresso!

Decent French Cuisine Front: Mushroom salad ($5.90) Sauteed mushrooms on a bed of greens, soft egg and balsamic dressing. Good, but portion is small. Back: Duck confit ($16+) Roasted duck leg on mash. Skin is very crispy, but meat is a little tough and salty. Definitely needed the mash to balance out the flavours. Overall, not very satisfied hahaha

Another Amazing Lunch At Garcons! Does this place never fail to deliver? Apparently they pride themselves on consistency and not just taste Pork ragout baked rice (7.9nett) the tomato sauce is lively, with both the olives and edamames being great additions. For 7.9 french fare, quite value for money but could definitely do with a lot more meat Raclette cheese fondue(14.9nett) was delicious as well with the raclette cheese being really creamy and rather mellow. The black pepper made it more savoury tho

Oxtail Pasta With unbelievable generous serving of great ox stew which only cost you $16, Garçons has been my favorite choice near one-north for a while!
