The risotto was cooked the way I loke it and the fish was fresh. Much better than my first risotto experience (not here though), so I was a bit aprehensive at first when my sister ordered it.
I can say the best prawn noodle in Singapore. The broth was very flavourful and rich, a sign that enough prawns were used. Not to mention the portion was pretty substantial for $3. Too bad it is all the way at Jurong Port Road
For $14.90 and the portion, this dish at Astons is very worth it. 2 slabs of boneless chicken thigh done 2 ways (one can choose from 6), and 2 sides. Only gripe was that we waited for about 30 mins eventhough the place was quite empty
The mee siam from Salam Kita is one of the best I have tasted (besides Old School Delight). The gravy was thick and flavourful, and the sambal hits all the right spots. This stall closes early, normally before 12.30pm, so have to rush there if one wants to order it.
One of better fried rice in Singapore. They were generous with the egg, prawns not overcooked, and there was less msg compared to the ones at zi char places. If they could add more garlic, it will become the perfect fried rice for me.
A nice, quiet cafe just behind my block :) The eggs fluffy and moist, the way I like it. The bacon was crispy as well as the waffle. Foresee myself coming back here aince it is so near my place :)
The cake was moist and soft with the muesli walnut topping providing some crunch :)
We had an option of 3 sausages so we chose garlic pork, spicy lamb and beef/pork. Came with a side of potato gratin and saukernaut. Out of the 3, the best was the spicy lamb followed by garlic pork and beef/pork. The potato gratin and saukernaut were delicious. Staff was also very friendly. Happy that it is so near my place.
