One for one cakes Tried the seashore (blue pea earl grey) and taromisu. Both taste quite good and are an interesting local rendition to classic desserts. But price wise, without burpple it wouldn’t be worth. the size of the pastries are on smaller side. But worth trying with burpple. 🍰

Disappointing cakes and tarts Newly opened Keong Saik Bakery right beside the Jewel self check--in counters. Spent quite a while waiting for a table as the store only occupied a small area and they don't have a max dining limit policy. Cactus ($8.80) : Matcha nama chocolate | Matcha mousse | Matcha cremeux | Matcha sponge | Chocolate crumble. Looked nice, but overall was expecting more. Needed something to balance out all the matcha-ness. Seashore ($8.80) : Sea salt butterfly pea mousse | butterfly pea whipped ganache | Earl grey cheesecake | Earl grey shortbread cookie base. Earl grey had a really artificial taste, bordering on a sourish tinge. The cheesecake texture was also very off-putting, more like a custard. Disappointed by the cakes we had, luckily in total this was just $10.55 thanks to Burpple.

Bad Pancakes salmon ahumado pancakes were dry and not fluffy. weird corn inside too. the mariscos marinara galettes was so drenched with a very salty sauce over a barely visible crust which became a soggy mess to even pick up and eat with hands or cutlery.. not going to eat here again..

Exclusions Not Clearly Communicated, Meh Food Quality, Poor Customer Service As the subject suggests, this is my 2nd visit after 3 years and I’m reminded why I haven’t patronised since. Waiter at the entrance has no idea what burpple is and the way he replied wasn’t helpful. After placing my order with another waiter, he came back after 5 minutes saying baked pasta wasn’t included + dozen more choices were not included. (He came back to take my order again - told me to be faster after 1-2 min because he has a lot of things to tend to - yes his words) Fine print only stated sharing platter as exclusion. The place was almost filled so that explains the long wait time but the food were definitely below normal standard. Thanks burpple, I’m never coming back and saving my $15.90 that I’d spend happily at MacDonald’s.

Western Otah Cutlet Rice The portions were sufficient and after the promotions, it’s very worth it to come here.

Black Kut Teh Lion Mane Hotpot ($16.90) I use 1 for 1 burpple voucher for main dish to redeem. I opt out noodle for side dish. But I felt that not much "pepper" taste as opt out for less spicy in flavour. They give a lot of ingredients inside hotpot such as lettuce, fungi mushroom, lion mane, tofu and sliced carrots. I did enjoy the experience for mini hotpot while they cooked ingredients to the boil. Their you tiao was quite crispy and can dip into the soup broth.

Pesto pasta Not a fan of the pesto sauce, tastes too nutty and not really of Basil. Also not a fan of the mushroom used and it’s a little too thick. Just not a fan of this pasta — will probably order another dish next time. However, with burpple deal - got two mains for$20.65 which is a great deal. Food portion is on the small side too. Especially for the location of this place. Will come back

Argentina striploin Ordered the striploin. We got the wedges and sautéed mushrooms on the sides. We ordered a medium steak, and I enjoyed the portion. Heard that they are closing down soon though due to high rent. Would miss this place.

Mushroom spinach ravioli Love this rendition of ravioli cause it’s not creamy. It’s tasty. Ordered this a few time and would always order again.

Enjoyable savoury Pancakes We ordered the chicken with mushroom pancakes and salmon with corn stuffed pancakes. Both dishes were very delicious. Pancakes were soft, buttery and moist. Went well with the savoury flavour. The hot chocolate was awesome too.

Set Meal I kinda disappointed that set meal for $9.90 ++ for serving was quite small tbh 🥲 but then the pancake was strong eggy taste (a bit plain) but adding sweet maple sauce still made up. I really like their bacon and egg being so good except canned bean is too much sweet for me. Overall, I did suggested for ordering their pancake instead of pasta tbh. As the pasta under set meal for $9.90+++ was really plain without ingredients inside. I don't really recommended to order it as you required to top up for their ingredients.

Soup of the day + Drink I order lunch set meal ($9.90) as I felt that the soup of the day (pumpkin w carrots) was not that nice and too much salty taste 🥺 + Drink (green tea) was also taste quite artifical and too sweet taste alr 🥲

Ginger Lemonade / Iced Lemon Tea The ginger lemonade is made using actual fresh ginger juice. I like how the zing of fresh ginger plays off that sweet-tart base 》$6 Each

Miso Pork Belly Bowl The miso pork belly bowl comes with homemade pickled cabbage, yakiniku sauce, onsen egg, sesame seed, spring onion and chunky slices of pork belly laid on top. The pork belly was thick and slightly charred to a nice burnt flavour. It was tender and juicy but I couldn’t taste the miso. Dipping it with the yakinuku sauce helps with the flavouring 》$17.90

Chilli Crab Pasta Spaghetti cooked with homemade chilli crab sauce and curry leaves, presented with a crunchy soft shell crab on top. The pasta was al-dente with a chewy bite. The sauce was done with the right amount of sweetness and a tinge of spiciness 》$18.90

Desserts 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙨: Good for sharing as these are big portions! We enjoyed both the fruit-focused red wine poached pear with lemon curd (3.5⭐️; $15) and apple galette (3.5⭐️; $15).

Barramundi 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞 (4⭐️; $25) - Well-timed tender fish with aromatic and balanced tomato and fennel sauce. Previously popular for their pastas, Eleven Strands has undergone a menu revamp with an extensive offering of delicious food and desserts.

Squid ink risotto 𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨 (4⭐️; $24) - Richly savory risotto with seafood aroma, paired with crispy fried tentacles.

Beer Battered White Bait Yummy side dish, very addictive with the wasabi snow. Crunchy yet soft to the bite. Goes well with the Mayo that comes with it too.

Sakura Ebi Capellini It’s like having atas prawn noodles. This one has a strong prawn taste which is complemented with toppings of Sakura ebi, shredded nori and Bonito flakes.

Wah Guys This Was A Damn Good Bird I came here for this bird and I was pleased with the bird.

Smoothie bowl First time visiting, I enjoyed the smoothie bowls! Will be back!
