Signature Oolong Collection
Kyoho Grape Oolong - $8
·
Love Antea Social’s Japanese teahouse vibe decorations. From their list of fruity and robust oolong selections, Kyoho grape flavour caught my eyes. When pouring out the oolong, you are embraced by the sweet aroma. First sip in and I’m surprised by its smoothness. Mild fruity flavour, similar to their Lychee Oolong which was great too. Pairing with array of cakes is recommended

Ai Magnum - $9.80
Gryphon Tea (Pot) - $5.80
·
Ai Magnum is made with 70% rum infused chocolate mousse, praline feuilletine, chocolate sponge and sable. Coated with rich almond chocolate contain alcohol. Not too sweet, could use more rum. The crunchy coating is the best part. Paired with melon flavour tea (Melon Manpuku) for a fruity ending

Salmon and Ikura Kamameshi - $35
·
Hanare's kamameshi uses Japan famous Koshihikari Rice (越光米), which is one of Japan’s best rice. Rice is cooked in an iron pot with Chef Taro Takayama's dashi stock and seasonal vegetables. It takes about 25min to be fully cooked, and it’s done on dining table. Salmon and Ikura Kamameshi comes with fatty salmon chunks, with salmon roe. Dinner set comes with miso soup and pickles. Their appetiser Daikon Oden ($10) is a perplexing dish with mushroom soup, not pleasing to my tastebuds

Nutella Tart - $8.50
·
Revisiting Wimbly Lu and this time for their Nutella tart. This chocolate tart is made with gao gao Nutella chocolate. Every mouthful is a punch of Nutella. Chocolate lover will definitely enjoy. Flush it down with a glass of ice shaken lemon tea ($5.80) for the shiokness

Cherry Pistachio - $9.80

First trying a cherry pistachio combination. Taste wise was mild and pleasant. I could easily finish all by myself. Item mentioned it contains liquor, but really can’t taste any. Great cake to pair with cup of tea

Smoked Duck Goma Soba - $15.00
·
Located at the Lvl 2 of Punggol Golf Range, it’s a popular spot for golfers to order a glass or two while practicing. Food wise, I like their smoked duck goma soba. By tossing in goma sauce, the flavour of soba instantly gets elevated. Thick slices of smoked duck give the tender texture and meat flavours to the dish. Great pick to pair with liquor too

Stir Fried Beef Hor Fun - $15.80
·
Pi Food serves Hong Kong cuisines, more popular for its Dim Sum. Sadly, those are no longer served during Dinner Time. I ordered the beef hor fun instead. Hor fun is not too oily, got hint of wok hei. Beef slices were tender too. Pretty basic otherwise. Always taste better with chilli. With the limited menu choices for dinner time, I suggest visiting Pi Food only in the day

Lemon Tart - $8.50
Iced Dirty Genmaicha Latte - $7.30
·
Be it enjoying time alone or catching up with friends, Lucid seems like a nice pick. Wide space with minimal industrial design, giving the chillax vibe. Love the Lemon Tart, which is sweet sour packed full of flavours. Washing it down with dirty latte, which is a blend of coffee and tea. Feeling recharged already

Mookata - $29.90
·
Happy Pot features one meter long mookata meat platter, jaw dropping when served! Meat was well flavoured, yummy when BBQ. Mookata also comes with Tonkotsu soup base, great for the vegetables + hotpot platter that comes with the set. A no frills Mookata at Lau Pa Sat that’s great for sharing with a couple friends or family

Hotpot
·
Hotpot has always been a great dining option when gathering with family and friends. Cou Cou recently open a new outlet at Jewel and it serves Taiwanese style hotpot, with range of soup bases and many dishes for you to pick from. Not the cheapest hotpot but their fresh quality ingredients is worth the extra penny. I recommend Mala soup base, which goes so well with shabu shabu meat! Surprised that mala soup base comes unlimited serving of mala tofu
