Ground Pot Chicken Coming to this place definitely must try some of the signature Jiangsu dishes like this one. Originates from the Jiangsu with the handmade flour cakes that you can see from the top of the chicken meats. This flour cake don’t have much taste on its own, which you need to dip it with the sauce of the chicken pot to get the flavour. It is actually soft and chewy texture, go well with the chicken.

Go to place for Frozen Yuzu Beer! Great frozen beer - thick layer of foam was almost like an ice-blend consistency. Happy hour promo of $26 for 2 glasses was pretty worth it. Yuzu recommended, lychee was quite strange. Skewers wise, we ordered the Set of 8 for $15 which was quite worth it and we were very satisfied with the taste. Pork Belly, pork ribs, chicken wings, potato slices were all good. Added on the Foil-wrapped enoki ($6.90) and we loved the garlic topping.

Chocolate Kurtos ($7) consisted of matcha sauce and matcha crumbs. Finally tried it after a long time. But the kurtos was quite mild texture (not that soft or strong). But chocolate was quite milky texture and not much chocolate aftertaste. But matcha sauce got weird sauce and not that nice tbh.

Quality hotpot dishes and cooked food [CITY HALL, SINGAPORE] we were at @brothbeyond_chijmes recently for a hotpot meal and we were really quite impressed by the quality of ingredients and the service provided by one of the server, Maine 😍 To me, the most important dish in a hotpot is the soup base and Golden Umami Broth 🍲 was the best. It was really rich and provided great flavour for any other hotpot dishes. Many of their dishes were served with dry ice, giving that fancy vibe to elevate your dining. All of the hotpot dishes were of high quality, and I loved Signature Mushroom Pork Ball 🐷 the most. They serve a plethora of cooked dishes as well, and the one that stole my heart was their Live Boston Lobster Porridge 🦞, which had so much seafood umami! I like the crispy bits as well which added extra texture. The lobster itself was definitely fresh, as it was taken directly from a tank. Wagyu Prata 🥞 was also crispy on the outside and chewy within, with tender meaty filling which provided much flavour! Thank you @eatwithkeat for the invite and @brothbeyond_chijmes for the food. It was truly exceptional!

Good dumplings! Compare to their hotpot, it’s not spicy enough for me, so add dried chili is not even close. We ask for more 火锅底料. But their dumplings are awesome! Especially the black one. And white one also with strong mushroom smell and taste. Good quality for lunch. Even is lunch set almost same price as HDL, if you’re in town. Good place to visit!

Nothing like a comforting pot 😍 [BUGIS, SINGAPORE] Gather your kakis or friends or whoever because the stir fry pots at @pangpang.sg are so darn satisfying to share 😍 Yes, the crabs in the Signature Crab Pot 🦀 ($78) may look small, but they were incredibly fresh. The meat was actually flaky with a bite to it and it's probably the freshest I've had in a long time! Please add on their prawns as well, as they were really snappy and sweet, evidently incredibly fresh as well. You need to order rice with this, as the sauce is perfect with it. It had a nice aromatic savouriness, with a hint of crab umami 😍 Another must order dish is their Fried Mochi Fritters 🍡 ($8.80), as these come freshly fried with such a satisfying mochi pull. They are not really sweet, so dip hard into the sugary black sesame crumble below. The crunch from the you tiao and chewiness from the mochi is to die for! They also offer smaller side dishes like Sichuan Spicy Chicken in Red Chilli Oil 🐔($15.80) and Shrimp Paste Bowl 🦐 ($15.80) which were a delight to have as well. Their service is worth commenting for, as they consistently took care of patrons at every table. Very similar to that from good Chinese restaurants. Japchae ($12.90) Korean stir‑fried glass noodles. Served with mung bean sprout side dish and corn cheese. Chewy, springy noodles with mixed vegetables. Generous portion, loaded with veggies, savoury and tastisfying.

Miyeok Bokkeumbap ($11.90) Seaweed laver soy ham fried rice. Short‑grain rice tossed with zucchini, corn, soy ham, seaweed laver and sesame seeds. Portion was just right for one pax, filling and tasty with a deep savoury note.

Budae Jjigae ($12.90) Army stew with an add‑on set that comes with two mandu (veg gyoza) and a glass of iced blue pea flower drink. Comfort food as always. Chewy ramyeon, baked beans, soy sausage, enoki, rice cake, firm tofu, seaweed flakes and cheese all in an umami‑rich hot pepper broth which felt kinda mild for me. Haha.
