The yellow curry base was thickened with ribbons of beaten eggs. It some how reminded me of the gravy of chilli crab. One of my must order dishes at Nakhon, whole plate of wholesome ingredients for just $10. The squid’s very tender, wish there’s fried mantou to complement it though.

This Injeolmi bingsu from Nun Song Yee used to be our staple. Recent 2 visits, however, have disappointed us with its significant drop in portion and standard. The bowl of bingsu was almost flat when served.

What a smart way to avoid dilution of taste as ice cubes melt. Consistent of milk tea was the same from first sip to the last. Great complement to the dim sum dishes.

Victor’s King Prawn Dumplings are easily double the size of average har gau. Each piece contains 2-3 fresh whole prawns. $5.20 for 3 pieces is definitely worth the eat!

Hotdog and cheese wrapping in sliced bread, fried to the perfect golden texture. Patio rolls used to be my favourite from Cuscaden, but its place has been taken over by the highly rated Patio Wings. I can no longer savour the melted cheese layer, more like the taste of an average hotdog bun now - just hotdog and bun.

Patio wings are always worth coming back for. Reasonably priced: 3pairs of wings&drumlets for $7.90, 6pairs for $11.70 and 12pairs for $22.40. We went straight for the Large portion and finished every bit of it. No thick flour layer and fried to perfect crispiness. Best coupled with complementary fierce chilli sauce for that extra kick.

In the heart of Raffles City, you will find the latest PS. cafe that has a building-within-a-building concept. Clear glass garden feel design is just so gorgeous. One of the must order here would definitely be the Truffle shoestring fries. For a reasonable $15, you will get a huge pile of fries served on tray with thick layer of shaved parmesan. Sadly, the truffle aroma was far gone when we were only digging half way through the plate.

This didn’t appeal to me at all due to the lack of meat ingredients. Fortunately, I have misjudged. This signature Truffle pizza from La Nonna is so good. Strong aroma and taste from generous spread of black truffle.
Drop by during weekday lunch hours to enjoy 1 for 1 promotion on all main courses.
Also, if you are pasta lover, try their crab linguine in tomato creamy sauce, another must order dish!

The well known Jurong Uncle Leong has been renamed and shifted to its new location behind Jurong Jenting Hotel. Menu remains the same for now. Must orders are their Chilli Crab and Golden Sand Crab, and complement both with mini fried mantou. Chilli crab was less on the sweet note, more savoury spicy, well above standards of other tourist known brands. This 900g crab was $67.50, full of dense crab egg. BONUS: Spacious open carpark and air conditioned indoor seating.

Ordered the new X’mas Special Knotty Cheese BBQ pizza. We loved the generous topping of savoury (BBQ drizzle, ham, cheese) and sweet (chunky pineapple, sliced capsicum). We ordered the combi set including 1 Large Knotty pizza (8 slices) together with 1 Regular Curry Chicken pizza. Both made us craving for more! $43.90 including delivery is a such a great deal.

Generous amount of truffle mayo and shaved parmesan piling on that mountain of house cut curly fries. Satisfied even by its look. Would love to come back for it and also to try Bangkok fried chicken the next time. Such a petty that the waffle machine was out of order.. didn’t get to try their signature cornbread waffle along with the fried chicken.

It looked so fierce on the menu, charcoal hot devil fried chicken 🔥🔥🔥. Nope, it’s nothing hot and spicy... sweetness was overpowering. Its tasty but just doesn’t match its look and name. $30 for half portion is not cheap.. good try but not again.
