A few hours from now, I will be transported back into the army world for two weeks. Good in a way that I can take a break from work and catch up with my army friends. Bad in a way cause everything inside is just green and more green. Need some comfort food right now and the Patatas Bravas ($10, feisty fried potatoes with devil's aioli) comes to mind. Had this during the media tasting a few weeks back and I remembered it was so good (especially when it was just served and still piping hot) that we wiped out almost the entire pan. A mug of beer and a pan of this will definitely lift even the most gloomiest days.

Mac & Cheese looked super appetizing but personally, I preferred something a little more creamy and cheesy.... But to make up for it, the entire cafe was decked up in super cute artsy crafts. A perfect place for families and friends to hang out and carry out craft making!

Thick mozzarella cheese coupled with piping hot rice cakes - one serving is never enough. *_* The bulgogi beef and crispy chicken rice rolls are also the best out of all the rice rolls they have!

Decided to take a chance when S and I were walking around the area. Plenty of Japanese were dining there so y'know like what people always say "if you see Japanese in a Japanese restaurant, it must be really good." Quality was great but ambience was even better! Had a quiet corner to ourselves despite it being a Friday night 😊
The grilled skewers, garlic fried rice, salmon belly soup and THE Shiok Maki is fantastic! The sushi is really fresh and the quality is so much better than regular sushi bars. A little on the pricier side but sharing is always an option!
Back again to Gyoza-Ya to attack 10 pieces of Mentaiko Gyoza. Really loved the generous amount of mentaiko layered on top of it and the tasty meat filling. May be a LITTLE salty but you can never really go wrong with mentaiko.
