3 fluffy pancakes topped with bananas, walnuts, cereal, vanilla ice cream topped with butterscotch drizzle. Extremely delicious combination but also extremely filling, finishing all 3 pancakes can be a feat as it gets very sweet towards the end.

I love the chili crab pasta with generous chunks of crabmeat, cooked to perfection. The Nazz's Mac & Cheese consist of roasted mushrooms, torched panko, delicious strips of turkey bacon bits and crumbs, really appetizing! 👍🏻

The main highlight was the butterscotch popcorn waffle with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream atop bananas and drizzled with butterscotch and nuts, satisfied my sweet tooth immensely.

We ordered this despite polishing off 2 pastas and the wings. Even then, it was SO GOOD. I took a first bite and literally put down my fork and SWOONED😍😍 I wish i had more of the salted caramel cos I was moping up every bit of drizzle on the plate.

And mighty delish too. Two super thick triangles of eggy moist brioche, toasted then further brûléed to a crisp, served with a handful of sweet fresh berries, raspberry purée, and a scoop of creme brûlée ice cream — all for $17.50. Good for two and really worth the buck. Generous portion aside, I especially liked how brûlée-ing the toast lent to a caramelised bittersweet flavour that helped balance out the sweet ice cream. #Burpproved

Beautiful interior. Great for gathering. The matcha pancake looks better than it taste. $17.90 excluding GST.

Sin Lee's salted egg chicken burger came with a generous slab of chicken thigh meat with salted egg sauce drizzled all over. Sauce was not spectacular; after a while, it got a bit gelat, and would have preferred it if it had a stronger flavour (sweeter/saltier/creamier). Nevertheless, the quantity of chicken thigh meat was a really pleasant surprise - I didn't expect to get such a big piece at this price range. The chicken was tender, juicy, with the skin fried to a nice crisp. Also, (surprisingly) the side of tangy slaw helped to cut through the heavy dish and provided some much needed acidity.

Now I can openly bring my Thai Milk Tea into the cinema and watch my movie! Soi 55 which was previously located at Golden Shoe Food Centre had opened another outlet at Cathay level 5 last week! 5555

A pity the Thai milk tea tastes a little "siap" and bitter 😞 [Thai Green Milk Tea S$3.90] & [Thai Milk Tea S$3.90] - available in bottles at S$4.90]

Can't wait to catch my next movie at The Cathay as I can now bring it into the cinema. In frame from left to right, Thai Rose Milk Tea, Thai Green Milk Tea and Thai Milk Tea | $4.90/bottle or $3.90/cup. I personally prefer them less sweet!

Well there is nothing quite like sipping sweet, milky and fragrant Thai Green Milk Tea while I laugh and sob at Xu Tai Yu's (徐太宇) mostly stupid and romantic antics on the big screen yesterday.
Our Times (我的少女時代) which plays on nostalgic and bittersweet high-school first love makes for a emotional rollercoaster and ensure some ugly-crying. Using a cup or bottle of Cha Yen to replenish the water lost through crying, I am glad we can officially bring Soi 55's milk tea into the cinemas at The Cathay and not have to smuggle.

Regular Thai milk tea and rose Thai milk tea. Milk tea with a twist. Only these 2 offer a less sweet option. $7.80 for these 2. Get your Thai milk tea fix before you go into the cinema.
