The House Chungdam has a really nice ambience. Went for the house feast for 2, which comes with boneless short rib, marinated rib eye cap, thinly sliced brisket, plus doenjang jjigae and steamed egg.
The MB9+ short rib and rib eye cap were the stars of the show, juicy and flavorful.
The doenjang jjigae was surprisingly good, thick and really umami. Would come back again!
Best bowl of prawn noodles I've had! While the prices are on the higher side ($20+ for any of the options with the XL prawns), the portions are very generous, the soup is thick and rich with prawn flavor, and the service is great!
You can have your noodles with soup or dry, the soup option is served with its own watered down version of the prawn broth (with the thick broth on the side!) but I personally prefer the dry noodles more.
I was told that you can even ask for a soup refill once, but I was too stuffed to do so. Would definitely go back again!
