The pretty decor was at odds with the food available, nevertheless the two rice bowls we had were both impressive. We got the Salmon Mentaiko Aburi and the Truffle Wagyu rice bowls. The Salmon Mentaiko Aburi rice bowl was filling had a generous serving of both torched salmon and mentaiko sauce - if you like heavy flavours (like me) you would love this. the Truffle Wagyu rice bowl was very generous with the truffle and beef, but that was it for me. they used a pretty lean cut of beef that got a little tough at times, and the whole dish was on the sweet side. Do come at an earlier time or perhaps make a reservation, they tend to get very very crowded!!
this was a very very satisfying meal!! my crabmeat aglio olio really hit the spot β¨ it was gone within minutes. quiet and romantic little restaurant, great for a date π§‘
delicious! we got the durian, cookie and cream and chocolate. i think itβs worth a try if youβre in the area, but one odd thing is that they share their space with singapore pools, so donβt expect a cafe ambience at all :)
We got one Maine style roll and one with truffle jam. The buttered brioche bun was like a crispy pillow enveloping the generous serving of sweet seafood mix. Yummy!!!!! ππ»
