Love the use of parmesan.
Generous serving, especially with the mushrooms. The rocket leaves added a nice bitter contrast. The sauce was a little too creamy though; got a little jelat.
Decent bolognese, generous serving. Spaghetti was slightly soft.
The pasta is good; the sauce is a bit cheesy.
Enjoyed the strong coconut taste and silky texture.
Extremely worth it after the Burpple 1-for-1 - one of the best East side cafes to chill at. Quiet cafe with free wifi and attentive staff. The downside is that modes of payment are limited - cash and cards not accepted, though Paynow and GrabPay are.
The earl grey cheesecake ($7) was light, airy and refreshing. Good choice of flavour that doesn't make the cheesecake feel too cloying. The crust was thick and crumbly too.
We had Curry Sea Tiger Prawn Linguine and Umami Prawn Linguine. For both dishes, pasta was toothsome and sauces were flavourful. Prawns were firm, generous and had a natural sweetness. They were generous with prawns too - Curry Linguine came wjth 4 prawns. Curry sauce wasn’t too spicy, was well mixed and coated every strand of linguine.
For the umami prawn linguine, mentaiko and bonito flakes combined well to provide savoury flavour.
Extremely generous with the salmon chunks and eggs. Tomato sauce was flavourful without being too sour. I liked how thick the bread was. Very worthwhile after Burpple Beyond.
Extremely worthwhile after Burpple Beyond - chicken was fork tender and pasta was al dente. Rendang was only mildly spicy.
$5 for a white coffee, run by people who appreciate coffee. Very cosy atmosphere but rather small.
