Phenomenal Meat. We arrived at the establishment, not too for away from the MRT, making it very convenient for meat-craving souls, such as ourselves. The place was rather filled, a testiment to the reviews we've perused. Thankfully, we made a reservation. We got the Charcoal Grilled Whisky Ribeye. There was some wait time, but the songs queued slapped real hard (like the meat). Then, The Meat arrived. My first bite reminded me of my first kiss - wet, juicy and delicious. Not sure if it was the whiskey, but we were completely intoxicated. The way the flavors came together was utterly spectacular and left us begging for more. The meat bolstered a rich complex flavour, which was further enhanced by the flaky sea salt that brought the sweetness out of the meat.

Maybe not Nacho and cheese @ $6+ Chips felt like they were from a store bought bag. Cheese was served cold. Would go for other sides next time.

For 30% Off 1 Selected Drink (save ~$2) Escape the heat at Maxwell Food Centre and enjoy a good book over a cup of coffee at this coffee bookshop in URA Centre. Nestle in the corner with their Japanese Matcha Latte ($5.50) or sweeten it up with a Latte Gula ($5.20), a rendition of the classic latte with gula melaka. Cozy up with the French Hot Chocolate ($5) or go local with their Ice Sumatra Kopi ($3.80)!

Ha Noi Bun Cha Sweet and sourish, Co Hai Banh Mi’s Ha Noi Bun Cha ($12.50) was slurp-worthy as well (though my favourite is still at Uncle Ho's Tuckshop). The tantalising dip really whets one's appetite and thankfully was not too lip-puckering. A little pricey for the portion but at least the pork patties were pretty large and were nicely seasoned.

Fresh Spring Rolls Their Fresh Spring Rolls ($6 / 2pcs) were on point too. The rice paper was beautifully delicate and thin - cause god knows I really dislike the overly sticky, chewy, and almost rubbery ones. The filling was pretty standard (the prawns were plump, the fresh greens crunchy, and the vermicelli noodles silky-soft) but overall a decent rendition. The dip at the side was good as well.

Stir-fried Beef & Cheese Baguette Not your traditional Vietnamese baguette filling, Co Hai Banh Mi’s Stir-fried Beef & Cheese Baguette ($12) was like a hearty, decadent Asian cheeseburger. Tender and succulent, the sweet-savoury seasoned beef was covered in gooey melted cheese. Super buttery, the initial bite was a tad rich but the crunchy pickles, fresh greens, chili, and coriander helped to balance the flavour. The toasted bread was also very satisfying, wonderfully crispy on the outside and fluffy-soft on the inside.

Iced Mint Mocha Iced Mint Mocha at Tolido's Espresso Nook is a refreshing masterpiece! The perfect balance of rich espresso, velvety milk, and invigorating mint flavours creates a delightful summer treat. Visually stunning, with mint leaves and chocolate powder, making it Instagram-worthy.

Pumpkin spice latte Seriously can't taste any pumpkin spice at all. There's a little bit of nutmeg on top. They took our feedback and made us another cup. Very nice but honestly both taste exactly the same lol no pumpkin spice

Brownie Blackout brownies are all good, this one is abit too sticky-dense and outside isn't the most crispy, so not top tier. But still enjoyable

Laksa Cheese Fries ($14) Fries topped with laksa gravy, runny egg, oozy mozzarella, prawns and fried beancurd strips .

Golden Sand Chicken & Waffle ($20) Creamery butter sauce coated Southern fried chicken served with crisp buttermilk waffle and topped with golden sand .

The Beast Nasi Lemak Burger ($22) Southern fried chicken thigh smothered with house-made sambal topped with a runny egg, sandwiched between deep fried fragrant coconut rice “buns”, served with a side of luncheon meat fries .

get the chicken breast!!!!!!! got the Active ($8.90) bowl and these were my orders: - slow cooked chicken breast (I HATE CHICKEN BREAST BUT this not dry at all!! very tender!!) - brown rice - egg white (for some reason this didn’t taste bland? but it’s not seasoned? not as bland as daily cut’s at least lol) - kimchi - almonds - ponzu (couldn’t rlly taste it but okay)

always very impressed by the amount of protein given! ACTIVE ($8.90) The baked chicken thigh was nice and well seasoned but a littleeee dry, so the choice of sauce is very important! I chose honey soy which tastes very similar to teriyaki. It’s on the watery side so it helped moisten the chicken🍗 I got baby potatoes for my base which were yummy! 🥔 The pickled beetroot reminded me of The Daily Cut’s (which I love) and the roasted pineapple was good as usual😋, but the tempeh was not as crispy as the last time I had it 😔

Salmon Poke bowl A quick fix for Poke bowl in CBD. Watermelon was refreshing and the sushi rice was not dry. Value for money with Beyond at 1 for 1.

Great salmon pokeball The order and preparation was quick. The PokeBall was very good and decent price. It may be hard to get seating, but they pack the food to go (and it doesn't get cold ;))

Their K-Chick Waffle ($18) which consists of the classic fried chicken and waffles combination with an added side of kimchi and onion rings is exemplary of that. Take a bite and you’ll know what we mean!

5/10 food a nice cafe w good vibez + korean songs 🥺 ordered the bulgogi carbonara, mentaiko salmon rice bowl and chicken cutlet rice bowl but those were disappointing so it’s a 5/10 for me 🍽 nothing was outstanding and i will not have it again … matcha latte was alright tho … 🍵
