Sous vide goodness salmon and egg π. The salmon is finished with a blowtorched yummy mentaiko mayo sauce. Also, the salmon steaks were soft, tender and moist, so do take note if you prefer your salmon firmer π. The egg is perfect with that runny lava yolk and it just goes so well with the furikake on rice π³π.

This place is super affordable and value for money. And there's cheap parking across the road!

Tofu rest on a bed of various vegetables such as carrots, sweet peas and black fungus and topped with some minced meat. I loved the sizzling eggs on the hot plate and the moment this dish is served - you can defintely smell the super shiok aroma!

Thick fluffy omelette that goes really well with the sweet potato porridge because of the chye poh (salty preserved raddish).

There aren't any pictures for this dish on the menu so I was pleasantly surprised when this dish came with a serving of mushroom, black fungus and carrots.

California-style sushi rolls with torched salmon, cheese, mayonnaise and teriyaki.
Sadly this was on the small side, which makes it kinda pricey..

The premium don comes with a generous serving of lightly marinated cubed sashimi (chutoro, mekajiki, sake, hotate, amaebi) on yummy vinegared Japanese riceππ π. The chutoro was very fatty and buttery - I loved how it just melts in your mouth β€ Also, the sashimi was fresh and sweet!

I will definitely visit them again before their promotion ends. Do visit them on Mondays/Fridays because that's when their tuna supply comes in!

Served in a cute elephant cup π. I looked this up because I was curious - Sullivan is an elephant that performed for an american circus troop in the early 1900s - definitely fits in with the theme of the bar.
Lightly bitter drink with the lavendar and rosemary giving floral + herbal notesπ.

This is a classic - just perfect simplicty!
Cheesecake is light and fluffy with that amazing crumbly base, whipped cream and topped with mixed berries.
Definitely baked and with the right amount of citrus, needing no fancy twist.

Sugarhall really does their desserts right!
Brownie has that crispy top and the insides are rich and dense with semisweet chocolate.
I loved the peanut butter crumb toppings, and vanilla ice cream. Sweet, salty, and savoury goodness!

Sugarhall is an upbeat bar with low lights and an extensive rum collection. Though music may be a little loud for comfortable conversation.
My drink is similar to the mezcal mule - smoky and sweet. However, there wasn't enough mezcal for that smoky agave kick. You will definitely be able to taste the sweetness of the ginger and the candied ginger gives it a nice crunch too. Overall, the drink was too sweet for my liking.
Petpeeve - the ice block made up 1/2 of my drink!
