this was pretty pricey in my opinion as it merely came as a scoop of gelato without a cone. however, it had a refreshing nutty black sesame richness embedded within its thick yet smooth texture. my only possible gripe is that the milky undertone almost overpowered the goma flavour so they could definitely incorporate a deeper black sesame taste.

the scallops were big, smooth and silky while being tender with a slight chew at the same time. i couldn’t tell what taste the mayo was but it was infused with an umami flavour that paired really well with the hotate and with the addition of a seaweed piece on the bottom, this was quite a successful creation.

i dont know why they put ā€œcream cheeseā€ in its name because there was absolutely no cream cheese when i tore open the bread :(((( still, the blueberry jam was thick and substantial to pair with the bun while the sugar dusting complemented the jam and enhanced its sweetness.

the bowl of ingredients were flavourfully incorporated with a mala fragrance that balanced salty and spicy. however, i was disappointed with the kind of noodles they used which were the indomie noodles because they aren’t as thick and curly as maggi noodles which hold alot more flavour and absorb more sauce. hence, this dish was not as satisfying as i would have liked it to be even though its flavour carried potential.

the bread was generously stuffed with cranberries but there wasn’t much cheese except for a cheese crust topping. however the bread was infused with a cranberry fragrance and fluffy so that was nice.

bread was fluffy and chicken had a balanced black pepper seasoning and was also portioned pretty generously as the ratio of meat to bun was decent. the crust was topped off with more black pepper which completed the bun.

this is a super underrated place!!! they have a huuuge variety of meats with many flavours, such as lychee, bak kwa and curry, that i don’t usually see in franchise kbbq outlets so that was an eye opener! furthermore their pork belly slices have a reallyy good ratio of fats! not only is the pork meat good, the chicken is tender while their beef is chewy and full of flavour. what’s more, they even make waffles for you upon request that you can pair with various ice creams, from chocolate, to blueberry ripple, and even green tea.

the amazing thing is that with burpple beyond, i only paid about $15 so it really made my whole experience sooo worth 😭

i appreciated how fluffy and airy the cake layers were. the cream cheese frosting was perfectly portioned as it did not overpower the buttery cake layers yet lent a sufficiently sweet creaminess to the dessert, complementing the rainbow layers.

i thought this set was quite worth it as it came with a bowl of rice, 1 hot and 1 cold deli, a soup as well as an onsen egg even!! everything i picked was delicious and the servings were pretty generous as well. i really like the meatballs as they had a meaty fragrance without feeling artificial and had a nice chew. the tomato sauce complemented the dish well as it lent an acidic kick.

this is the risotto of my dreams. extremely flavourful creamy sauce that was fully incorporated into every risotto grain which was also perfectly cooked with a substantial chew. the mushrooms were deliciously seasoned and i basically slurped up the whole plate. that’s how wonderful it is.

my first bite sent me straight to pasta heaven. if you are a cream based pasta lover, or not!!!, u will definitely love this. i actually prefer aglio olio style pastas because i find cream pastas too heavy after a while but this sauce is magical.. perfect balance of creamy and light but sooo rich in flavour, with a seafood-y fragrance that’s enhanced by the fresh and fleshy lobster meat chunks scattered generously throughout the dish. also can i just mention that this was my first time trying squid ink pasta and boy am i glad it was this plate.

the french toast was light and fluffy, carrying a cinnamon fragrance. my only gripe was that the toast was slightly dry. nevertheless, served with caramelised bananas, berries and an artful brush of caramel sauce, this plate was a delightful way to start my weekend. using burpple beyond for this also made my wallet happier šŸ˜‹
