We found this waay more wholesome tasting cos some rice fibre was unfiltered). The kids declared they didn't like it much (almost as if they knew we would make them drink it daily if they showed any affinity to iy: "C'mon, good for you!" Hehe, that thought did occur). This drink came well-presented at served from a gleaming stainless steel cocktail shaker. The location was pretty family friendly, despite the name Gangnam88 and several party animal posters, and the fact that this was one of the few joints open till one am at Kota Damansara.

Even before GoT, Winter Solstice was a time for reunions and a celebration of hope and anticipation... holding the idea that after any of our longest nights, perhaps if we steadfastly believe it to be true - Spring Will Follow ... (So forget Season 8, and watch the Rise of Skywalker.) #titikbalikmatahari #ๅ†ฌ่‡ณใฎๆ—ฅ #๋™์ง€ #yule

Swipe then hold your breath, as it is stalked, ambushed and devoured by a silent predator.

The serving was six pieces but we couldn't stop ourselves eating two as soon as our order arrived, which is why there were only four minions left in this pic. They were above average but I have had even more awesome ones elsewhere so cannot rate this as tops. It is their lamian which is tops (top 3 i have tried in Sg)

It was sold out before I could even say "Pliz gimme 5!" Their menu seems to suggests that the franchisor is allowing some creativity and differentiation in the menu.

The one pictured has loads of water chestnuts inside for added texture and crunch, which is a fine trick to use for minced meat patties (same idea as white onions, but more delicate tasting)

Swipe to see more being made in Pic 3! This becomes more like a super crisp biscuit if they remove (shave off) the insides which they normally do. I like mine "unshaven", which makes it more like the corner piece of the traditional mee chiam kueh: that is, fluffy inside and crispy outside. Upside is that this has far fewer calories compared with the chewy traditional one as it uses way less batter. Downside is that it doesn't stay crispy more than 5 mins, as the extra batter makes it soften after a while. This explains why this won't become a standard menu item anytime soon (not a limitation for me as I attack it right off the griddle).

Yeah, I hear you: "Where's the rice?" Some are asking.๐Ÿ˜ The lala clams were fresh tasting and the chinese meat burger had goodies inside like tang chye which made it tasty.

Damage: $7.30.

We eyeballed each other warily, before I moved in and took my first nibble. Never had anything like it before. This was at a wine pairing event and I couldn't quite fathom why I got happier each time I realised that the next delicious wine didn't actually pair with this awesome appetiser either. None did, not even the Sauterne. Didn't bother me of course.

Brings back fond memories of the ไธ€็ฆ„้ธกย (one rod chicken) that I have munched on in Kuala Lumpur.
