A dark and sexy den in the middle of Keong Saik, Mariko’s offers a mouth-watering menu and an incredible fully-stocked bar with a diverse range of sake, Japanese whiskies and beers, as well as specially curated cocktails.

New on the menu, these warm and melty croquettes are a much welcomed addition. Sink your teeth into one of these and let its flavorsome tonkotsu sauce fire up your tastebuds, bonito flakes adding a layer of complexity to the dish.

.Went exploring Seolleung neighborhood today and chanced upon this quaint family-run eatery. This cold noodle dish of vegetables and Korean spicy sauce is deliciously chewy, accompanied by a very tasty pork bulgogi! There's also a free flow of banchan and hot soup. λ§›μžˆλŠ”! #GourmetAdventuresInSeoul

These almonds are beyond any we've ever had. We're not a fan of wasabi, but these wasabi nuts are perfect, coated with a subtle wasabi powder that makes it so incredibly indulgent!
The honey butter nuts are not cloyingly rich, but just the right combination of creamy butter and honeyed sweetness.

Give us a carton of these and we'll love you forever. 😝😍 #bestthingever #GourmetAdventuresInSeoul

We've developed a big love for Korean banchan, especially for these delicious pickled eggs, so today we decided to pickle our own eggs! Here's how to prepare pickled quail eggs in 6 simple steps.

Recipe:
1. Boil the quail eggs for 5-6 minutes.
2. De-shell the eggs and place in a jar.
3. Combine soy, sugar, garlic and vinegar. [Note that too much garlic will make the mixture bitter.] Bring to a boil and simmer.
4. Pour the braised liquid into the jar.
5. Add chili as desired.
6. Seal the lid shut. Refrigerate for 3-5 days and it's ready to eat.

Enjoy! πŸ˜„ #mandylynnskitchen #GourmetAdventuresInSeoul

The Wasabi Ginger Ale [$4] raises eyebrows with its unique concoction found only at Ramen Keisuke. Retaining the fizziness of your average ginger ale [albeit a little less sweet], this ale takes things up a notch with a subtle aftertaste of wasabi. πŸ“· @lingamajig

One of our favorite cocktail bars, Manhattan's newly launched Harlem menu is a spanking array of the spirit-driven cocktails we appreciate.

This potent creation is deceptively sweet and aromatic, and a great representation of Manhatten's new Harlem district theme – multidimensional yet simple on the palette, a feat only possible by using their own house-made barrel aged Applejack from the rickhouse.

Made from only the best French Rock lobster shells, the broth is essentially a rich lobster bisque with an asian twist. Catering to our sunny island's appetite for hot and spicy flavours, the chili adds extra oomph to its salty miso base.

We also love the Special [$21.90], that comes with a generous assortment of prawn balls, black pepper prawn wontons, crunchy bamboo shoots, crazy-tender pork belly and a phenomenal chicken char siew.
