Got it at $4.90 via shopback daily deals. Nothing much to shout about since it’s dory fish. Crisps were still consistently good. Batter doesn’t make one feel jelak.
Claypot rice cooked with basmati rice. Unfortunately, rice and sauce was mixed before serving up to our table much to Doreen’s disapproval. I very much prefer stir frying the rice in the sizzling hot claypot myself.
Rice was salty, basmati rice was hmmm....better off in briyani. Serving portion isn’t enough to share among 3 other friends. (Order the big size instead if you’re in a group of 4!)
Chinatown’s lian he ben ji set the benchmark too high for my claypot rice. Next.
Eh walao eh I ordered cause everyone who posted it on ig said it’s nice. Allow me repeat what my fiancé commented, ‘it’s glorified rubber band. Even the Pasar malam one is nicer and more value for money)
Pardon the bad photo angle. That’s the only way I can fit the whole roll in. The thosai wasn’t paper-thin crispy enough for my liking. Side confinements were alright except the dal. It was way too watery.
Delicious scrambled eggs, juicy mushrooms and smoked salmons. Fried chicken was okay. Salad can be further improved imo; looks cheap and taste mediocre.
Favourite korean bbq place! Other than free flow meat selection, the buffet comes with free flow barley/sour plum tea, additional stew, appetisers and premium meat per pax. Marination on point!
Can’t wait to return.
Promo valid on Monday and Thursday only. What you waiting for? Best place to whack sashimi!!!
I know it looks rather unassuming here but I find their meejiankuehs one of the best since having it in my school days. Not sure what their operating hours are like but do come in the morning. Another favourite of mine is the one with crunchy peanut fillings.
Score it at $5.90 via shopback deal. I was fuming for having to wait close to 30 mins just for a simple fast food take away. All ready to blast my hangriness here until I sneak a crisp into my mouth underneath the mask when I finally received my food.
Doreen was immediately appeased. All was well. Crisps are still amazing. Perfect thickness that retain its crunch even after a long while. Yumz.
Constant snaking queue spotted in the Coffeeshop for this highly raved prata stall. Really crispy exterior but I find it a lil on the oilier side which I’m not a big fan of. Feels like I’m eating paper prata after sometime. Dough could have been more flavourful too.
Accompanying curry is good!
Good plate of Hokkien mee! Uncle and aunty closing shutters in end August 2020! Try before it’s gone!
I really want to love this after seeing so many raving reviews but unfortunately my plate of Hokkien mee was watery and salty. :(
Won’t be returning.
