open concept bar with live music at night tried some of their menu dishes like abalone risotto which is rich in unami flavor in the risotto and reminds me bit of korean fusion. Their Nasi Lemak Rice is pretty good with strong coconut fragrance 👍

Saw that they have houjicha and Genmaicha as well! Got their Genmaicha which is $9.90 with eggs - similar to Traditional Kaya Toast Style though quite funny that they have these but opens at 12pm. So more of an afternoon tea snack😂 but price doesn’t incl drink 🥲

They have mains now as well like Beef, Salmon & Scallop etc. in Shio Pan/Rice/ Soba Pairings all around $20 +/- range… but the food standard is pretty well executed for cafe style.

overrall I spent $40+ after Gst which is fine for an occasional cafe outing but bit hard on the wallet to go for regular matcha treat🥲

‼️Finally tried the highly raved ban mian at Far East Plaza✨ surprised that there is no queue😮 but there are patrons already at 11am✨ went for their cheapest and classic dry mee hoon kueh with minced pork ($7.20), kinda surprised by the price point 🥲 i guess it’s orchard, saw reviews it used to be $5.50 though😭

back to taste wise, i do like the rich dark soya sauce and chewy mee hoon kueh but hm, i think i did have similar before. its good but maybe i got hyped up too much, for the price point and surrounding options, missed the mark abit to be a regular spot but if im craving ban mian nearby i will visit 😊

✨ @elevenstrands has a new, bigger, better menu at their Serangoon Outlet!😍 still maintaining their price range even though a lot of their brunch and western menu is ✨elevated✨created by Chef-owner Terence, the National-stage Winner of the 2024 Pasta Championship Asia and his head chef💕 absolutely nailed the upgrade~ last visited 1 year ago, next time will definitely be shorter than that 😜

My 3rd or 4th time here and the roasted meat doesn’t disappoint as always! Now they have CHARCOAL roasted duck which is well done soft and tender with crisp skin newly paired with sweet chinese plum sauce that you find at high end chinese restaurant ✨ but here at a more affordable price!

new item is their White surf clams in Tonkatsu Broth Bee Hoon enough for 2 pax($14.40) which is super worth it! A mountain worth of Lalas with a close resemblance to our local white seafood bee hoon style 💯

Must order their signature mix platter (300g)($35) as their cracking roasted meat and sweet char siew is a must get‼️
