$15. Love the spices used for the fish burger! A decent meal over a quiet weekend afternoon. Improvement? Perhaps not overcooking the fries and fish fillet... but still an enjoyable piece šŸ˜‹

$26 Lunchtime Mains. Got to know this place via Entertainer App (cues for one-for-one)! Looks like a great place for wine/beer and some Belgian style mussels! This claypot is doable with those spices to perk you up over lunch.

Delicious food with delicious flat white! Lovely sourdough toasted to the right crisp! A tad disappointed with the service in the morning as there was only one wait staff.

Another Mala place in the west! Meats are very fresh, imagine the thick juicy fish fillet, and those thick slices of MaLing luncheon! Wei-la level is really too mild, no kick, so it’s good for those who wants to try but afraid of it being too spicy! Approx $21 for this portion!

PokĆ© Bowls can be a tad expensive but this ā€œoverflowingā€ size bowl with lots of rice (I mixed rice and salad) will make you very full (Beware!) so it’s really value for money! My friends got the Original flavours and it was too salty, so get this spicy mayo, tastes better!

What’s a Middle Eastern Snack? Baklava! Cinnamon, Almond, Caramel, Crispy! Love the sweetness to end the day, just don’t bite into the clove šŸ˜‚

In Telok Blangah Crescent, the coffeeshop beside the Hawker Market (apologies for the bad locale tag), rests a Mala Xiangguo stall which for 3 pax, we only paid $18! Its Wei La (microspicy, first level of spiciness) would already send you sweating buckets! Ingredients ā€œala carteā€ from its refrigerator, greens are very fresh but meat are frozen.

Most delicious porridge in this Hawker Centre, IMO. Its ā€œporkā€ actually comes in both sliced and minced meatball, and I especially love the springy texture of the meatball and it seems like they added salted fish in it, which goes well with the velvety porridge!

$12 for lunch set meal! Inside is grilled chicken and bacon! I suppose I’m all too used to not eating much black pepper (tastebuds getting like old person’s), the seasoning of the chicken thigh is not up to my liking. Nevertheless, the bacon saves the day! Would have been better if they used fresh potato (not frozen ones) for its side fries, and not allow the cabbage within the burger get cooked (they were tad soggy and didn’t provide the crunch I was looking for).

This is on Burpple Beyond! Should have checked the reviews before deciding (I was late and ordered the first nice pic on the menu that caught my eye)... the chicken thigh meat was clearly double-fried, dry and bland, I yearn for more sauce the more I ate. Get their Chirashi bowls or maybe Tendon Mixed Bowl instead!

Was looking forward to a moist falafel, like that one I had outside the hotel I stayed in Munich earlier this year, but this is a dry, sesame laden crust falafel. Pardon me of my lack of knowledge in middle eastern food, but I think I prefer the moister one. Get the cube meat kebabs from Le Rida, they are much nicer!
