Buy 2 and get another free! Got the Yuzu, fig, and black sesame. Yuzu was my fave as it was tangy and sweet. The cakes were soooo soft 😍
At just $3.20/scoop (SAY WHATTT), this has just become one of my top to-go place for some good gelato with a nice cozy ambience.
We ordered two scoops of ice cream, hazelnut and strawberry pockey, with the tart for $13.80. (Additional .70 for each scoop as they were premium flavour) the tart was rly surprising as I expected it to be harder. It were kinda crispy on the outside and soft and almost cake like on the inside. It was kinda like a rly dense cake inside. AND IT WAS WARM. A plus for that.
Waffles with a scoop of ice cream was only $8.50 (SAY WHAT WHATTTT). Mad love for this place.
Opens till 930 on weekdays and closes on weds!
Never goes wrong. Lotsa prawns and a surprising ingredient: water chestnut, for the extra crunch! 😋😋😋😋😋😋
Ordered the one with the pork ribs. Definitely one of the best best best prawn mee I've eaten. Although the price might be a bit above the norm but it was totally worth it. The prawns were sweet and fresh (saw the auntie take it out from a pile of ice too). Soup was as rich as it could get and noodles were perfectly done.
The hawker was a pretty damn hot tho. Dress light!
Noodles are softer than it looks. I guess it was intended as I've seen this in several posts. Soup base was pretty rich and lots of beef given 😋 the egg was an additional order (: I think I would still prefer the Thai and Vietnamese version tho although the soup is a lot cleaner here.
Amazing chewy noodles with a peanut sauce (more of sauce than soup texture) and with some heavy garlic taste. I absolutely love garlic, but this made me a bit scared after finishing it.
It was a pretty good dish! But the garlic was a little too scary
Omgosh the amount of grilled pork given was 🙌🏼 they have a sweet taste to it and also the "Chao Tah" (in a good way) taste. Meat was really soft 👌🏻
The rice tho, it was wayyyy too soft until it was a bit mashy. Maybe trying the burger would be a better choice
We went around 7pm on a Friday night and its was pretty quiet but the ppl around me were mostly having the Hokkien mee. Waiting time was only around 5 minutes and it was visually very pleasing 😍 Very generous with the ingredients of squid, pork belly, prawn and clams. Wasn't super spectacular but it was still pretty good!
Old town's Nasi Lemak have always been one of my go to when I'm looking for a good Nasi lemak. Their Chilli have little slices of onions in it as well which I'm quite obsessed with. And their rice is nicely cooked and flavourful without clumping together. The crispy chicken's got a good crunch and taste super good!! Must try!
They are having some lunch/dinner promo that's $8.90++ for the Nasi lemak and a drink (I got iced teh tarik). They have other mains as well such as their noodle dishes.
Tasted so awesome with all the sake and whisky. $20 for 7 pieces
$11 for 3/4 pieces
The soup itself had a very rich daikon taste. We finished it to the last drop! The space of the bar was very small and cosy and they serve a pretty wide variety of food and alcohol.
Unicorn cake and Milky Way!
This dish was about $15-16 if I'm not wrong. The cream taste was really a little too overwhelming and there was only a subtle hint of the mushroom taste. Was pretty disappointed ):
I would recommend the desserts here. The unicorn cake and Milky Way was way smaller than what you would imagine. But they were really super pretty and taste was not bad too (:
