...yes i just had this last week
BUT this week’s beef tasted completely different??? it was more charred and more spices were added (u can see the colour is completely different), so that was weird. but i kinda preferred the beef this week hahahahaha so much more flavourful and i think they gave larger portions?? 🤪🤪
as usual this was gooood their noodles are like mee sua kind and it makes me feel kinda healthy lol
got the ayam bakar and curry chicken with vegetables added! very very flavourful chicken with curry on the rice and i love the omelette they added too :”) no complaints rly craving satisfied
it’s called 伤心茄子! and it’s SO flavourful salty sweet sour at the same time with a huge portion so get it to share!! i can’t remember the price unfortunately but it’s less than $10 and WORTH IT
walked past delibowl a ton of times but never paid much attention to it until last weekend!! we got the set meals for beef & tomato (番茄牛肉) ((pictured)) and beef stir fry (回锅牛肉), which comes with a tiny bowl of soup and side dish of choice. while the soups and side dishes were kinda lame, we were so surprised by the flavour of our mains!! super rich and flavourful and perfect for 重口味 friends out there HAHAHA we loved it! each set was around $10ish which is p good for funan honestly. heard their lunch deals are nubbad either!
loved the vibes of this place! both rustic and modern w the wood paneling, white wooden grills and a bar in the middle 😌😌
we got the iced black, filter coffee and lemon pistachio cake to try! i don’t usually get iced blacks bc the flavour is usually diluted or it’s just not pleasant to drink lol but my iced black here was so good!! filter coffee was really pleasant too, you can taste different notes with every sip and after every bite of the cake. cake was also superbbb i loved the pistachio bits inside :-)
unfortunately idk how much they costed bc my bf insisted on paying dhfjsjfjv
back here again w my friends this time! their coffees are priced very reasonably, and we got the latte ($5), iced chai ($7) and iced matcha ($7). drinks were yummy too! :”) also the staff are always so friendly hehe definitely one of my fav cafes now
SRY for the bad pic AHAHA was craving korean fud so hard and was so hungry :”) got their army base stew, japchae and oden tang to share among 4 people. honestly i think food was just OK, yummy but not amazing or phenomenal. price-wise was ok, we split to around $20 per person after gst + service charge!
so pho in jem still exists‼️‼️ they moved up from the basement to level 3
these are my FAVVVV noodles they’re so good 😭😭 and so pho is rly affordable and halal!!!
PAELLA WAS GOOD v generous serving and w a lot of seafood too :~)
for tapas, get the green peppers!! huge portion and sautéed extremely well! skip the beef cheek, it was rly tough to chew and flavour was meh. tuna salad was alright, advise you to skip and get another tapas - my mom said the shrimps were good!
wines are priced decently here too
cute brunch spot that isn’t too crowded, good place to hit up after a hike at bukit timah nature reserve! food was alright, nothing amazing but decent (the rosti didn’t taste like rosti it was a thicc pancake w a mashed potato consistency - but it was good la)
tastes like nakhon, priced like nakhon, but without queues like nakhon?? we were the only people there during dinner time but don’t let the lack of crowd fool u, the food was great!
get this prosciutto pizza! burrata salad & gnocchi was average, nothing to shout about. pricing was alright for the quality and it’s not in a crowded area!
