Interestingly addictive Korean shaved ice with sweetened milk sauce. You wouldn't expect tomatoes in a bingsu, but somehow the flavour of plum powder just brings everything together. And look at all those tomatoes⦠it can only mean one thing⦠this dessert is healthy!!! So you can eat more without any guilt. Or at least just tell yourself that. ;)
This new cafĆ© has wifi, power plugs, coffee and dessertsāwhich means this is definitely not my last time to visit. š¤

Canāt really go wrong when you put two of my favourites tastes together with Potatoes and Lup Cheong (preserved sausages). I really enjoyed the rosti part of this dish and could just eat it by itself. Soft shreds of potato flavoured with lup cheong and sesame oil makes it super comforting. Personally, scrambled eggs arenāt really my thing, Iād prefer sunny side ups with oozy yolk instead.

A new place to get a quick fix when youāre hungry has popped up at POMO. Hotdog Inc. offers flavours like Wagyu Beef Roll, Soft Shell Crab and Pork Cheese Sausage. My favourite is the Spicy Italian Sausageājust a little hint of spiciness and I think the sauces made a difference. Hotdog Inc. formulates their own sauces in-house!
Affordable prices, but their seating is limited, so this is great for a grab-n-go or bite-n-go sorta meal.

Oh that tomahawk steak on the grill! š
We didn't have that, but we did have a good steak, fine wine and my favourite company.
I'd definitely go back to Skirt at W Sentosa for a great meal with awesome service and chill ambiance. They have this Tomahawk Tuesday promo where you can get a 30-day Jack Daniel's single barrel dry-aged Tomahawk steak at just $199++ per kg! Easily feeds 3-4 depending on sides ordered. I'm aiming to go back for that next. One day⦠š

Flavourful yet healthy meals are always welcome. Like this Ultimate PokƩ Bowl. We had Original Salmon and Spicy Tuna over salad and brown rice. The spicy tuna livened up the dish with a little kick and everything just worked well together. Plus the staff were super friendly. Will definitely be back for more.

Got to try out Kuvoās Seafood #PotSocialite to the delight of my tastebuds. Each pot is just $80++ for 2-3pax and is overflowing with seafood including crabs, prawns, clams and some veggies to mix things up. We chose Brandy Beurre Blanc sauce which was perfect for the seafood, not too creamy or overly flavourfulāand is great for dipping bread into.
Other sauce options include: White Wine Garlic Chilli, Bonito Broth and Spicy Chorizo Tomato.
I suggest to have this seafood pot between 3 friends so that you can try some of their sides like the Seafood Radish Cake which is super aromatic.
Warm Japanese Sweet Potato that's been mixed up then presented in it's original sweet potato skin and served with vanilla ice cream. The sweet potato can be a little heavy by itself, so best eaten with the ice cream. The menu says it's for two, but I think I could finish this goodness by myself. š

Craving for this Shendol Delights ($10) by Chef Shen Tan at Revolution Coffee!
Super creamy coconut panna cotta with gula melaka syrup, served with homemade red bean ice cream. I could wipe out a few plates of this by myself. The panna cotta was super smooth and thick. I could do without the chendol though, just because theyāve freaked me out since young⦠those unnaturally chemical green tentacle like jelly things *shivers*.

We were looking for a dinner place then came across Wolf Burger's new collaboration with Bird Bird. i.e. Wolf Burgers is now serving up burgers in Bird Bird's old location at Ann Siang and to avoid changing the decor I guess that's why it's a collaboration? š¤ I guess they did mention they came up with a special menu for this place.
Anyways, the Horlicks Vanilla Milkshake⦠spiked with a little Baileys ($12.50). Thick, gluggy, sweet, spiked and decorated with crunchy crushed choc bix (that clogs up the straw once mixed in)⦠I liked it and I'd go back for this again.

The salad in our 8-course omakase lunch set was this Sea Bream with imported Japanese tomatoes served peeled and topped with shallots. The fish slices were tender and had a smokey flavour from being torched. A nice refreshing dish at the start of our meal.

Part of the 8 Course Lunch Omakase ($120 per pax) where the dishes change everytime depending what's in season.
This dish included fatty tuna, Hokkaido octopus and thinly sliced Leather Jacket with a little pinch of fish liver smeared between the folded sashimi. My favourite would be the fresh fatty tuna. Leather Jacket flesh is rather sweet when cooked, but as a sashimi it was more plain with the liver adding a hint of flavour which I drowned with wasabi and soy sauce.

Housemade Tofu with Bonito Jelly and Hokkaido Uni. The Tofu has a texture more like REALLY thick paste and mixed together with the bonito jelly there's a nutty flavour to this dish. This was one of the items we got to try in the Kanda Wadatsumi Omakase set.
The 8 Course Omakase ($120 per pax) includes: 2 kinds of appetizers, salad, assorted sashimi, seasonal dish, main course, shokuji, miso soup and a dessert.
