If you love thiccccccc juicy Hamburg, stop by #tsukimihamburg today (especially if you stay in the west).
Journey to the West, as Tsukimi opens their doors TODAY! Part of the @foodforlife.res and @njoy.singapore, find them at the Japanese Street at @jurongpoint!
My pick is obviously the one with that perfect orange egg yolk on top of thick juicy Hamburg steak π€€
All items are super pocket friendly - even the most premium item with foie gras(!!) only sets you back $19.80!
Halal Rooftop βBarβ on the 7th floor of Bugis+, didnβt know about this location until recently. But they seem really popular within the Muslim community as the place was pretty pack on the Friday night.
Quaint and cosy cafe in Ang Mo Kio Ave 10. Always here after a quick grocery run. Friendly stuff and decent coffee.
Beyond is available here, for 1-for-1 beverage/ 1-for-1 coffee and pastries.
Always drop by for cuppa when Iβm in the hood. Pretty strong and decent coffee.
The service is super friendly - really acceptive of Beyond here π
My Saturday Mee Pok. This is the basic Ba Chor Mee ($5), very saucy and I love the combination of minced meat, meat ball and braised mushrooms. Super shiok with kway tiao!
Zucchini for noodles gives it a nice clean taste, with a slight crunch. Soaks up the sauce really well, with the beef like impossible meat π± This was definitely our favourite dish of the night.
I saw that the beans were from Dutch Colony, straight black cold brew plus milk, lack alittle creaminess for this one.
Buttermilk Waffles with Kaya Soft Serve π¦ interesting combination - chewy waffles with a slight saltiness from the shoyu caramel.
They also added coffee cream cheese and coconut granola into the interesting mix. The Kaya soft serve was super Pandan-y, good or bad, depending on how much you like Pandan flavours - cause it was super intense!
For desserts, do go for the Cereal Milk with honey soft serve ($6) that came with one topping - we had the speculoos cookie crumbs. Though I do agree with @ericagwee that I taste abit similar to the previous IKEA 50c ice cream before the recent change to the soya milk one!
Rolled over to @thestacksg for lunch by dragging more colleagues with me π
Most of were attracted to the Puff Puff ($13) that was smoked salmon and cream cream centric, the flavours worked very well together, it was Pesto Cream Cheese(!!), kale, onion and nori - made it super tasty π€€
Finally a new stamp on my passport since 2020 π#GDLL
Visited @soil_jb ζε‘ζε‘is a must! The bakes and pastries are pretty solid here, love the Lemon Meringue and Chocolate Custard Donut π©
Go for the Chee Cheong Fun that comes in many filling (char Siew, prawn, mushroom) and the silky smooth Cantonese porridge π€€
