Five-spice marinated pork collar slices with a not-so-runny egg on rice. Quite tasty for a simple meal, but could do with more sauce.

For its pocket-friendly price, these noodles are quite a treat. Slicked in fragrant, truffle-y spring onion oil, they sport a good bite and come topped with cold but tender drunken chicken. I also like that the bowls come with lots of spring onions - yum!

Chunky beef cubes, carrots and radish cooked to melt in the mouth, with the same handmade noodles in a sweet-savoury broth. Would have loved for the broth to be stockier and beefier.
Smoked in cherry wood, the deboned (sans the wing) chicken is decent but lacks that usual umami that one expects of smoked chicken.
The noodles served in that cloudy chicken osmanthus broth were yummy though, warm and comforting for a rainy day!
Ridiculously huge slab of roasted (perhaps fried after?) pork belly, topped with peppery, savoury gravy. Some parts were more tender than others but definitely satisfied, especially with 1-for-1 on #BurppleBeyond.
Decently tasty marinara that scores high on points for portion. There are at least eight plump mussels and prawns, smothered in that zesty sauce that keeps it palatable through the meal.

To go with your fried chicken starter: a very apt brussel sprout dish. Roasted to be dark, sticky and bittersweet, then topped with crispy bacon, it’s hard not to find this enjoyable.
Surprisingly well-portioned for a dish under $20, the pork belly is executed skillfully. The crisp skin to fatty layer and tender flesh ratio is very balanced — perfect for those who like their meat with a bite. Would’ve liked a touch more sauce to go with the dish, but certainly no complaints otherwise either.
For something to start on, this Southern-inspired fried chicken is great! The bite-sized chunks straddle crispy skin and juicy flesh, with a faint note of that buttermilk batter. Served atop a bed of succotash too!
One of the yummier meat mains at this hotel resto is the duck breast. It sports a nice sear, is very tender (thanks to brining) and goes nicely with tart pickled cabbage and the sweet potato mash.
Turning quality Indonesian honey into drinks, this kiosk is a nice change from the ubiquitous bubble tea stands.
There’s a good variety of honey juices, tea and coffee but this one came highly recommended by the team. It’s delicious and while it does taste a little on the sweeter side, you can also dilute it with water (or tonic!) to your liking.
Would come back 💯
