Thanks to my Bros who brought me there. Queued for at least an hour before going in and I must say it's worth the wait. We were seated right in front of the open kitchen. It's a feast for the eyes seeing how the chefs masterfully prepare this awesome bowl.

Came here based on recommendations from Burpple. The place was packed! And They ran out of fish when we arrived and the Chef had to bring it over from their other outlet lol. My first poke experience and I do like the idea of a healthy bowl of brown rice with fresh sashimi.
The spice is unexpectedly refreshing in this bowl. Definitely go for it!
The charred bits sets it apart from other renditions, including from the said originator San Low Restaurant in JB. A definite must try if you're around the area!

This brings me back to the wonderful days of my grad trip in the US. Clinton has been named best pancakes in NYC twice and it's not hard to see why. The maple syrup is specially brought in to SG and its freaking legit! Thick stacks FTW.
It may even appear as salted egg to some and I have to admit the texture is pretty similar. It's appropriately sweet with a touch of heat making it a very balanced dish overall. It's really packed with several large groups despite being inside Choa Chu Kang ITE with no visibility at all!

Their zichar is so far, one of the better ones I have had and 9/10 times I will be ordering this same dish. The meat is thick and succulent. Topped with that beautiful sunshine it makes a beautiful canvas on a plate. Rainbow Rice House is just below Hong Lim market.
