Chicken Rice with Dumpling Soup Set SGD7.00
It was very salty almost like halloumi but gooey at the same time because it came in a hot plate. It was best eaten with the sweet fig sauce placed on top as the saltiness may get a little overwhelming 😁 The grilled octopus, on the other hand, is definitely one of the best places we’ve tried so far. It wasn’t rubbery but in fact, so tender that almost ‘melted’ in our mouths. Sounds exaggerating but we stay true to our words.

Cheeky’s chef has done months of R&D and sourcing suppliers for the correct ingredients for every dish before presenting them on the menu and we’re obsessed. From the thick cut bacon on their Breakfast Club to the sourdough that’s fluffy and good enough to eat on its own. Not to mention, robust flavours and generous crab meat found in the Chili Crab Scramble. We can see that they care about what is put on the plate. Can we ALSO say, the Coffee Spritz is out of this world. Quoting the mastermind, it’s literally ‘nothing like you’ve tasted before’ 😂

We like the beef brisket noodles which had very good flavours and their handmade dumplings which is always a plus point. If you find their dishes a bit too heavy, go for something lighter like their Chili Oil Noodles!
