Dropped by Seng House and really liked how understated yet thoughtful everything was.
We went with a few dishes to share. The Crabmeat Carrot Cake was honestly very well done — crispy without being greasy, and the crabmeat wasn’t just for show. Comfort food, but elevated.
The Bao’d were soft and pillowy, and you can tell care was put into the fillings. Nothing overly fancy, just clean flavours done right.
The Pork & Satay had a nice smoky char, and the sauce complemented the meat instead of overpowering it. Simple, satisfying, and easy to enjoy.
The biggest surprise for me was the Lasagna Verde. Rich but not heavy, and the burrata on top added a really nice creamy balance. It felt indulgent without being too much.
Had the Apple Crisp Kombucha alongside the meal — refreshing, light, and not sweet at all. A good palate cleanser especially with richer dishes.
Overall, Seng House feels like a neighbourhood spot you’d keep coming back to. Good food, relaxed atmosphere, and a menu that feels thoughtfully put together. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Visited this steakhouse with my partner and was amazed by the food! Great taste and the portion size of the sharing plates were very generous, especially the Del Monico steak with beef heart tomatoes. The atmosphere and service provided by the staff were also commendable!
The oat yoghurt drink was great! Wasn’t too sweet and the oats added a chewy element to it
