Youβll be surprised they do really nice burgers and portions were more than enough. Their beef burgers are served with a complimentary bowl of soup. The beef patty was juicy and thick, goes wonderfully well with the potato buns which were soft and fluffy.

Soooo fragrant, the fried garlic rice left me in awe. One of the best Iβve had in Japanese restaurants, it really did not disappoint. My husband and I really enjoyed this dish and made it to our must-order list at Akashi!

Their Ebi katsu is soooo good! A must-order at Akashi - Golden Brown! A subsidiary of the Akashi Japanese restaurant, they do really good jap fusion burgers!! Look at the meaty ebi fillet! Itβs also fried to perfection, super crisp on the outside and substantial inside.

Their crazy shakes are really crazy in size and looks. I ordered their Brooklyn Blackout which is their version of the chocolate shake and gawd it was soooo good! They topped it with two brownies sandwiching a mountain of whip cream with chocolate chips. Surprisingly it was not overwhelming sweet judging by the looks of it. Classic.

They used chicken breast for this sandwich but it was sontendwr and juicy it did not even tasted dry. It goes impeccably well with the avocados, salsa, bacon and cilantro sauce. It's packed with flavours and the sandwich was bursting (literally) with ingredients.

The burger portion are super huge and served with fries, you may top up for their sweet potato fries or onion rings if you are feeling fancy.

They have very nicely packed the gula melaka sauce separately for takeaways. Flavours of the coconut shavings and pandan goes well with the gula melaka however I find the texture of the sponge cake a tad hard. Maybe if it was consumed fresh it wouldn't be so but oh well.

The chicken cutlet was so worth the money, they have increased their prices recently but in this pandemic businesses are all affected and may well be justified. Their fish and chips is also one of their best-sellers, be sure to try before they move out from this area.

Very normal. Flavours feels like they are lacking something, wish they were more robust. I ordered the one without "hum" (cockles in hokkien) so they gave a lot more "taupok" (fried beancurd in hokkien) and fishcakes.

Strawberry fresh cream cake in half chocolate and half original, it's a best of both worlds for those who wants to try 2 flavours in a cake. The best way to eat it is to have it chilled and it tastes a little like ice cream cake. It's so creamy and goes well with the fluffy sponge cake.

Portion of the chicken was huge, it was so crunchy and well marinated. The set comes with fries, coleslaw and a fried bun. You may opt to switch the fries to rice/spaghetti. Please choose the spaghetti if you go for the carbs version, it's a definite win over their rice. Their coleslaw and fried bun was also sooo good better than the famous fast food chains.

The braised meat was mixed of fats and lean meat so it was perfectly balanced and so well seasoned. Served with a side of cucumbers, picked vegetables and a braised hard boiled egg. Everything was so well-balanced and fits each other perfectly together with the braised sauce. Another dish that I will definitely order here.
