Trying to make Prawn Noddle Soup but I guess the key is in the stock..gotta invest in more prawn shells and time to brew it altogether.
Trying Dark Fried Carrot Cake this time around...think I may have accidentally found my retirement job...LOL. 😝
First time trying to make a local delight "Chwee Kueh" or Steamed Rice Cakes with Fried Pickled Turnip. Trying to get a grasp of the ratio of water to wheat & corn flour to get the right texture for the steamed rice cakes. Overall an ok attempt but will strive to get it better the next round. 😇
Prepared some yummy Wagyu Steak earlier during our random cookout session! Love that pink meat!!

Pan Seared Italian Herb Chicken and Boiled Broccoli! It was yummy and tasted good jus like that. Broccoli was boiled to perfection(at least in my book) with the help and advice of Google hahah. I could get used to eating like that!
Bee Hoon (Rice Vermicelli) Soup with Minced Pork Balls, Prawns, Vegetables & Egg! It was the perfect simple tasting comfort food for dinner!
In my humble opinion, this is by far one of the best Fried Carrot Cakes that one can find here in Singapore. The way it is prepared is slightly different from conventional methods of frying the raw carrot cake. The individual pieces of carrot cake are coated with a nice batter of beaten egg. The top layer of this 'paste' is fried till crispy and coated with a generous layer of chili paste. Sprinkled with spring onion and served, the flavors combined with the crisp texture make for a unique and yummy dish! At the lowest priced portion at $2/- a pop...it's a must try I guess. Only tricky part is the long wait...5/5
