Fresh and torched Salmon Belly Sashimi seasoned with Sea Salt on Warm Japanese Rice. Lovely texture of the soft salmon belly melts in your mouth. Grated Wasabi topped it all off awakening the senses. Especially when you can feel the vapors through your nose. Like a warm explosion that fades away. There's nothing quite like it. Must try! 5/5
Always love a latte in the afternoon. The same people who brought us Assembly Coffee are behind this lovely new joint. Coffee is just as good and ambience was perfect for a laid back afternoon chill out session.
First time drying a Dry version of Laksa (a local delight) which consists of a spicy coconut base soup. It was an interesting twist to a common dish and I have to say it was refreshing to try something like this. Prawns were fresh and well prepared and the laksa seasoning was just right! Worth the calories I would say đ 4/5
This simple delight is really something that stirs my childhood memories! I will always remember my mum and grandma buying me a luncheon meat soft bun as a snack. The thin slice of fried egg to go along brought about a taste which reminds me of the Cha Chan Teng (Tea Restaurants) in Hongkong! Must try 4/5
Bacon, Beans and Egg on Sourdough! The egg was well cooked with the yolk still semi runny. Sourdough was toasted to perfection and the beans & sausages were pretty flavorful to complement each other. 4/5
The Breakfast Strawberry Maple Pancake was yummy, a simple afternoon delight to chase away the blues. Never had such a huge and thick pancake but to my surprise, it was really soft and fluffy with a nice crips on the edge! Absolutely divine pairing of sweet, sour and salty!! Must try 5/5
Extremely crispy on the exterior and soft within, damn take my moneh đ
Have not had ClayPot Chicken Rice in ages and heard that the one that used to be at Clementi has now shifted to Holland Drive. Decided to go for it last evening. Taste wise, it was alright but I felt that it was not as good as what I remembered when I last had it at Clementi. Overall, craving was satisfied but it was not the best ClayPot Rice that I have had. No drink stalls were opened yesterday at the market so had to walk over to NTUC to get some water. Remember to BYO water/drinks if you are gonna drop by. 3/5
This was the Spicy Version of the Lobster Ramen!! Pretty spicy like it looks but I felt the original tasted better without the Chilli overpowering the lobster broth's original goodness. 3/5
Chicken Namban! This Crispy Fried Chicken with Egg Mayo & Pickle Dressing was super awesome. Crisp skin on the outside with tender meat underneath that! Something that I would highly recommend those who visit. Delicious!!! Must Try!! 5/5
Lobster Ramen (Original), whole nine yards with all additional items, Seaweed, Egg, Bamboo Shoots, Cha Siu, Chicken, Wanton, Prawn Balls etc. The soup tasted like lobster bisque. It was so rich and tasty that I finished the entitled bowl hahah. Overall, it was nice to have ramen in a totally different type of broth! The queue to get in however, was pretty long and I think we waited for about 30-35 minutes before we were seated (and that was because we were in the 1st seating of the evening). Was it worth it? I guess if you have always wanted to try Ramen in a not so common broth, then yes, go for it!! 4/5
Super yummy and fresh fish with warm Japanese rice and authentic Wasabi. Ambience is edgy but comfy apart from the bar like furniture. Definitely value for money!! Must try! 5/5
