Visited Curious Palette with the colleagues today and chilled over some cakes, waffles and this delicious fluffy Berry Ricotta Hotcake. Can't go wrong if you order this… well hasn't gone wrong the last 2 times I've had this. 😋

The stellar dishes at Char that got my mummy nodding her head in approval. The platter of 3 ($32) with Char's mad famous char siew, crackling pork belly and decent roasted duck. The family loves the tenderness of the char siew, with almost same parts of fats and meat, making it almost too guilty to have and too guilty to not have. I particularly liked the cracking pork belly which comes with a golden crispy skin. A less known but stellar dish would be the beef hor fun ($12). Every mouthful was filled with wok hei, what's not to like really? Thanks Raine for reminding me about the Hawkerpedia vouchers, I managed to bring my parents out for a good meal for a nominal fee.

Delicious! The foie gras and the beef goes well together, blending well with the onsen egg. Oh well, this dish mixes three ingredients I love in a tasty explosion, so I must recommend!

The serving was really generous given the price tag of $20 - this staple brunch item was really really goooood! Not to mention how protein packed it is! It deserves a re-visit with the same order!! The kale was super light and crisp!! I can't help myself shoving mouthfuls after mouthfuls of it!

I was in for a treat at this little eatery tucked at the side of Shaw Foundation Alumni House in NUS. Featured here is their Wagyu Don ($17.90) that has loads of succulent beef, sous vide egg & topped with juicy ikura & salted veg that complements every mouthful of rice. For it's price tag, it's definitely worth it.
Good thing if you're from NUS as you'd get a 10% off! Too bad I was a tad late & couldn't get my hands on the Chirashi Don 😭

Salmon soba noodles ($17) sounds deceptively simple, yet made outstanding in the hands of the amazing chefs at @atlascoffeehouse! The noodles were tossed with an addictive sauce, and the dish was infused with Japanese flavours that tasted light, yet oh-so-delicious. #burpple #cafehoppingsg #foodspotting #foodporn #foodstamping
