This hot sticky date pudding is very good on its own that has the right balance of moist and density, with the right amount of sweetness of sticky toffee sauce to soak in to each bite. Totally love the combination of hot pudding and sauce against the cold vanilla bean ice cream that is paired together for an indulgent treat! My life is completed now! 😁😁😁

The level of badassery here is insane. DOUBLE the gooey melted cheese, DOUBLE the medium beef patties - and you get a mad delicious and sinful burger. I would've liked the buns to be a tad softer fluffier in order to soak up all that juicy goodness.

Went to Penny University with my boyfriend for brunch. The food there was definitely hella nice and totally worth the price we paid, although they did not update the menu on their website. The portions served were adequate. In terms of customer service, the people working there were friendly and efficient. Definitely worth the try to go, especially if it's your first time coming here.

This gorgeously whimsical shop is bound to put you in a good mood with its unique decor and colorful walls. Actually a shop by a French design company, La Marelle also doubles up as a perfect cafe hideout on the second floor along Baghdad St. For a hot bite, go for the stuffed croissant, and finish off with a cup of coffee and a slice of Windowsill pie. The prices can get a little steep considering the food is rather simple, but this is definitely a unique place to visit for a lovely afternoon.

My army buddies and I ordered up a Farmhouse Brats, a Breakfast Butter Croissant (BBC) and Lola's signature Honey Paprika Wings. The pork sausage was smoky and hit all the right savory notes while the accompanying nacho cheese sauce and purple slaw complimented the brat well. The wings were excellently executed and were as crisp as a starched army uniform even down to the last bite, which was surprising given the generous drizzle of honey, which offset the mild heat from the paprika. But the show stealer was undoubtedly the BBC. Rich butter croissant slathered with tangy Cajun mayo and stuffed with moist, velvety scrambled eggs with melted cheddar, and topped off with thick ham and honey bacon? It's a no contest, ladies and gentlemen! It's one of the best breakfasts I've had in a while.

Located at 22 martin road, this cafe is not easily accessible via train/bus so do prepare to walk a distance. Most of the customers are foreigners, probably residents staying in the area. Arrived at about 10+ and the place was already half filled, chose the alfresco seats which had natural lighting (only the ones near the entrance), and which had nice wooden tables, and my fav plants 😂😂 Left at 12 when the crowd started to fill the place. Items featured in the photo includes: Common Man Full Breakfast $26/ Egg benedict $24/ Latte $5/ Mocha $6. Verdict: The total bill sums up to about $70 which was on the pricey side. The egg benedict, organic eggs on tender braised ox cheeks was great. Love the ox cheeks 😍 The full breakfast was not bad as well, but with its plate of bacon, sausage, hashbrowns and pork cannellini beans aside eggs, tomatoes, mushroom and toast, it became too much of a portion being on the "meaty and salty" side 😅 The coffee was good though! 4.2/5.0

This is four floors of awesomeness! 1) Medium well done beef patties. 2) Melted cheese. 3) Great taste chemistry combination of triple onions, lettuce & pickles. 4) Abundance of its notorious sauce. Must try!
