Pizza night with pizzas from @happyendingpizza !

🍕 Mushroom madness ($27++): comes with some truffle taste with gooey cheese and 3 diff types of mushrooms. Wished the truffle taste was stronger!
🍕Hawaii Five-O ($27++): special in the sense that it has one whole caramelised cinnamon pineapple ring in the middle. And comes with pancetta instead of the usual ham.
🍗 Spicy buffalo lollipops ($12++): made for easy eating and the BBQ sauce taste was strong, abit too much drenched in sauce though!

What is special too about this pizza parlour is that they provide pizza dips! The one we got was the sweet chilli pineapple for the Hawaiian pizza pairing. But I thought it didn't go quite well. I would have preferred other sauces! Was also given another sauce dip but it tastes more like haebeehiam chilli sauce to me, also weird for a pizza dip 🤔

First time trying An La Ghien even though it is relatively near me. Because working from home doesn’t justify me to order lunches that are $10+ 😄 but this place has always been quite crowded during meal times before phase 2 HA and it serves authentic Vietnamese food.. so I have been wanting to try!

Decided to be safe and ordered my typical chicken pho soup order. I thought it was quite funny that they have shredded ginger in the soup!? I don’t usually see ginger in other chicken pho soup I have tried. I also didn’t quite like how the chilli served was the sauce kind instead of chilli padi! IMO chicken pho soup is best eaten with spicy chilli padi :) I also like my pho soup to be more peppery!

Price wise it was $9.9 via grab food (not sure original price if takeaway directly, but I had a grab food voucher hence decided to use it for the order), comparable price to like namnam.

Back at City Donuts again and trying another flavour this time round!

Tried the orh nee yam ($2.6) previously. This time round I got the pandan ondeh ondeh ($2.90). Chewy donuts filled with gula melaka soaked shredded coconut! 🌴

New oyako burger at @mosburgersg ! Essentially oyako don in a burger form (rice burger with chicken patty, egg and seaweed). More ingredients than the Tsukune rice burger but also slightly more expensive. I’m still sad over why tsukune rice burger has been permanently removed from the menu. Whyyyy 😭

My other favourite burger order from mos burger is the fish fillet o fish! Prefer mos burger’s version than macdonalds!

New oyako burger at @mosburgersg ! Essentially oyako don in a burger form (rice burger with chicken patty, egg and seaweed). More ingredients than the Tsukune rice burger but also slightly more expensive. I’m still sad over why tsukune rice burger has been permanently removed from the menu. Whyyyy 😭

On the last day before phase 2 HA kicked in, we had a nice brunch meal at @steep.sg with an almost one hour wait! 😱

🍳steep’s breakfast $17: comes with sourdough bread, eggs (can choose between poached or sunny side up or scrambled), turkey bacon, herb sausage, mushrooms, mixed green, tater tots and roasted tomatoes. Super lots of ingredients! The turkey bacon was also not fatty at all! I loved it! Plus interesting how they offer poached egg option too! Avocadoes in cafe always tastes nicer than the ones I try to make at home myself haha (always can’t get the right stage of ripeness)

🍞French toast $15: brioche with mascarpone, berry compote, maple granola, fresh fruits, toasted almonds and honey thyme syrup. Mascarpone was very light and nice to eat with the French toast. was sad that our French toast order came so so so much later than other diners who only came in and ordered after us. Guess they missed out our order 😢 ha so that explains the 3 separate photos here because the food weren’t served tgt. We were already done with our steep breakfast portion before the French toast FINALLY got served!

☕️iced red velvet chocolate $7: because we were so hot from waiting around outside the cafe and wandering aimlessly while waiting for seats to be freed up. My first time trying a red velvet choc drink!
