This is my second time at Fatcat! Visited years ago when they were at Bedok! Now they have reopened at Kovan at 15 Simon Road!

However, the Kovan outlet doesn't have any proper table and chair seatings. Only small side tables or a standing table area. Not a very convenient place if you want to enjoy the waffle and ice cream in comfort!

Here is what we got
-Brown Butter Waffle ($7.50) with Osmanthus Oolong and Yuzu Matcha ($10 for double scoop)

The Yuzu Matcha was a pretty interesting flavour! Japanese Green tea + Fresh Kochi Yuzu.
As for the Osmanthus Oolong, I kept thinking it will taste like the White Chrysanthemum Osmanthus Oolong, but it wasn't, this had a stronger tea flavour. I prefer something lighter!

Hidden in Orchard Tower is Korat Thai, which serves mouthwatering Thai Dishes!

Here is what we tried:
-Tom Yum Mama: This is good for 2-3 pax! Super comforting bowl of tom yum creamy soupy noodles! This pot of tom yum mama has sio bak, prawns, pork ball, squid and also crab meat! And not forgetting the iconic egg yolk that all tom yum mama noodles should have!

-Crispy Garlic Pepper Pork: This was sooo good! We loved it! Super umami!

-Crispy fried egg: We were recommended to get this dish. And my my, it was so good! Crispy and fluffy! Totally love it! A small portion ($3.50) is good for 2 pax!

Discovered a new dim sum stall to frequent - Tiong Bahru Pau & Snack !

Have walked past this stall many times, but finally deciding to try it today! The queue for this stall is always long! What I like about this dim sum stall is that the items are sold per piece, and not in a fixed set of 3 or 4 quantity. So if you are dining alone or in small groups, this is the best dim sum stall as you can order just one or two pieces instead of the standard pieces!

Here is what we ordered:
-Char Siew Pau ($1.30): Very soft and fluffy! Seems like the char siew pau is the popular item here
-Lo Mai Gai ($2.20): This is so good!! Is not the usual frozen steamed white minced chicken lomaikai kind, but the real chicken chunks kind. Good that the lomaikai was not the dry dry kind. This is my top favourite item here!
-Egg Tart ($1.40): Flaky buttery crust with smooth egg custard!
-Carrot Cake ($1.40): This carrot cake has lapcheong bits in it too!
-Fried Prawn Roll ($1.20)
-Yam Ball ($1.40)
-Char Siew Sou ($1.40): Though I will love this but it ended up being my least favourite item as it was kinda dry

Location: Blk 252 Jurong East St 24, 01-107 600252. They are just beside the Yuhua Village Market and Food Centre!

My favourite food stall at Taman Jurong Hawker is B.B.Q. Seafood (03-178)! This is always my go-to stall when at this hawker, especially during dinner time! However, their queue to order and waiting time may be quite long on weekend! Visited on a weekday for this trip! No long queue to order and waiting time for food was just 11mins! The stall also started closing quite early a few minutes past 7.30pm as they were sold out! (operating hours is by right 12-8pm on weekends and 3-8pm on weekdays)

We had wanted to order the small stingray portion ($12) but it was already sold out so we had to get the large $16 stingray portion. Also got sambal sotong ($15) to go along! Rice is 50 cents each.

This is one of the nicer sambal stingray and sotong I have had in Singapore. Easily rank as top 3! The sambal is super fragrant and mild sweet and spicy! Not overly dry or spicy. Goes so well with plain white rice! Comfort food!

-Chilli Crab & Shrimp Pasta ($20): Linguine in chilli crab sauce, with soft shell crab and grilled shrimp! Huge portion!
-Green Smoothie ($10): Avocado, mango, banana and pineapple! Healthy fruit smoothies!
-Lychee Madness Mocktail ($7.50)

Visited Chicken Supremo after watching @eatbooksg chicken chop recommendation video!

Be prepared to wait at least 30mins during meal peak timings! The aunty also warned every customer who wanted to place order that they must “wait patiently” 😂

The chicken chop here is only $5! Large portion of chicken chop, fries, baked bean, salad and bun. I felt that the fries portion was quite little though (but cant complain for the price of $5). Juicy chicken chop!

Also tried the black pepper chicken chop ($5.50), the only diff was the sauce. Black pepper sauce was more savoury!

@thatsmypizza at Bukit Timah Food Centre!

Was there recently for dinner and chanced upon this pizza stall with quite a few people waiting around for their pizzas! Took one walk round the food centre and didnt fancy any other food, so decided to give the pizzas a go! They have many pretty interesting and unique pizza flavour choices!

Initially wanted to order the tomato base applewood bacon pizza ($22), but they ran out of the bacon by the time it was our order, so we settled for our next choice instead which was the Special Base Japanese Chashu Kurobuta Pork ($28)

It was a 30mins plus wait on a weekday evening!

Their pizzas are handstretched and goes through a long fermentation process before being fire baked! The pizza has a chewier texture than normal pizzas, and there is a slight char on the crust!

Will be back again to try the Applewood Bacon!

Must visit unique cafe in Singapore - @fangkocoffee !

Fangko is famous for their Smash Chimken! Here, you can choose your preferred spice level, which ranges from Level 1 to Level 21!

Here is what we tried:
-Wet Indomie with Chimken ($11): If you love creamy slurpy noodles, get the wet indomie version! Comes with shrimp crackers and an onsen egg too! Opted for level 1 spice and it was already kinda spicy for me!
-Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($14): This grilled cheese sandwich blew my mind and it was the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever tasted! This sandwich is filled with creamy avocado and topped with lots of shredded cheese! I think there was some marmite on the toasties as well, which elevated the taste! The whole combination is so good!
-Fangko Melaka Brew ($6): This coffee blew our mind! Have not tasted such fragrant coffee before! Rich and aromatic! For non-coffee drinkers, this is a good cup of coffee to start off with!
-Butterfly Lychee Soda ($7): Pretty colours and super refreshing!

A very enjoyable dining experience! They have quite an extensive menu, and I will be sure to check out more of the other dishes!

Finally tried the tarts from @wunderfolks !

Got the 4 tart box! ($32 for four 8cm tarts)

You can choose the desired flavours of your tart, and I picked the following:
- Fruitilicious Mixed Fruit Tart: Filled with madagascan vanilla custard & topped off with grape, strawberry, blueberry and peach.
- Mango Passionfruit Tart: Creamy passionfruit curd topped with mango, pineapple, passionfruit cremeux cubes.
-Lemony Meringue Tart: Pate sablee crust, lemon curd and finished with torched meringue.
- LycheeTart: Lychee rose mousse, finished with a tangy and luscious lychee raspberry whipped ganache.

My favourite was the fruitilicious mixed fruit tart!
