Black squid ink pasta with squid and prawns. The pasta was al dente. The prawns weren’t that fresh. Otherwise, the whole combo was good.

This is RM41.

Ordered this since it was one of their signature.

No regrets! Nicely sourish. Pairs well with the fish and chips. You can order either a single glass or for sharing. This photo is the sharing. It comes in this cute fish container/mug thing.

Sadly, I forgot the price. Highly recommended!

British eatery. Fish & chips. Makes sense right. It was even the chosen national dish in Netflix’s The Final Table.

They offer two types of fish; cod and haddock. And three sizes to choose from; regular, large and legendary. Legendary is for sharing. There are three sides to choose from; their signature gravy, mashed peas or curry sauce.

The batter was light and crunchy while the fish is soft and flaky on the inside. I’ve given up hope on fish and chips in Malaysia as I find them too oily and the batter too thick. This was perfect! Recommended!

Price depending on the fish and size you choose. Price range from RM33-RM58.

Fresh, succulent prawns poached in olive oil with garlic.
I loved dipping the complimentary bread into the olive oil as it contains the sweetness from the prawns.

This is RM29.

An appealing and cosy restaurant. Perfect for dates.

Ordered the patatas bravas, which is one of my favourite tapas. The potatoes were perfectly fried. One of the better ones I’ve tried.

This is RM24.

One of my concerns when it comes to salted egg yolk dishes is the amount of salted egg yolk cream in it. A lot of places tend to overdo it and you’d end up feeling queasy.

This rice bowl had just the right amount; not too much, not too little. It comes with nice, crispy chicken popcorn, chilli curry leaf and broccoli. The taste is nicely balanced.

This is RM20.

Big, brightly lit cafe on the third floor of Gardens. Came here for brunch. Instead of the usual brunch options, opted for their rice bowl.

Chose this rice bowl with ginger-soy glazed salmon, avocado, edamame salsa, sweet corn, broccoli, diced cucumbers and crushed nori. This portion is just right. The salmon was nicely cooked. A good portion of vege. Recommended.

Nice layer of hardened caramelized sugar. The custard is made with white chocolate.

This was a tad too sweet for me. This is good for sharing as I think having the whole thing by your own will just give you sugar rush.

This is $8.90.

This s’more is not the traditional version. It has a thick marshmallow outer layer and dark chocolate ice-cream in the middle.

The marshmallow was a tad too sweet for my liking. And because it’s so thick, it’s hard to get the marshmallow and dark chocolate ice-cream together to balance out the flavours.

This is $10.

Fries topped with stir-fried kimchi, nacho cheese and mayo.

It would be good if the taste of the kimchi goes through the layers of fries. We enjoyed the nacho cheese topping more in this case. Quite a big portion.

This is $12.

Something different for brunch. Not every place offers savoury crĂŞpe.

This crĂŞpe comes with three mushroom ragout and chive sour cream. The portion is just right. Nothing outstanding though.

This is $14.

Good coffee. Can be stronger though. Not acidic, which I like.

Oh...they don’t serve their coffee in to-go cups. I asked for it.

This is $5.50.
