The burrata pizza was crisp and the pesto complemented the burrata! The pasta was not bad but pizza steals the show. The place was crowded when I went so it was quite noisy, but food made it worthwhile.
I like strawberry rhubarb the most :)
Mr Bucket's choco is unique. It doesn't taste like the belgian choco we're familiar with but rather has a deeper flavour. Wasn't used to it at first but it's moreish!
This has become my fav place for hot/iced chocolate. Not only is it creamy and smooth, the deep moreish flavour is what draws me in for moreee. Go on a rainy day and get their hot choco at 50% off!
The chicken thigh was tasty with many spices! The rest of the dish was average (broccoli was hard). Bf gave me some of his tuna panini to try & it was WAY better!
The pesto sauce was not bad, but for the price point I wouldn't order this again cause it had no ingredients & dish was quite dry. Their pumpkin soup is nice tho! Not too sweet and made the pasta more palatable. I prefer their paninis.
At $23++, it's quite pricey as the salad veg isn't alot! Tastewise, it's okay but I would rather go for mains instead next time. Dewgather's food is generally all quite yummy :)
At $26++, the portion isn't filling.
Tbh I like this pork more than the beef cheek! It's tender with bits of fats and full of flavour.
However I wouldn't order this again cause of the slaw. As green apples are used, the slaw taste doesn't blend with the pork. It's fine and refreshing on its own, but maybe not together.
Do give it a try anyway since the slaw is personal preference!
At $26++, the portion is just nice for average appetites but maybe not for big eaters.
I like Dewgather as the chefs seem to take pride in their dishes - beautiful platings, healthy ingredients, and complementary taste profiles!
The kale was crispy and tasty, while the beef cheeks were tender with tendon. Highly recommended!
The good ol'banana cake smelled so good after warming up that I forgot to take a pic. Even my mum who doesn't like banana pastries adored this cake! Highly recommended to heat up as the edges carmelize and crisp while the center remains soft. Still tasted great when eating it cold :)
Fav Minis:
1. Banana cake ($2) - rich & fragrant
2. Earl Grey Lavendar cake ($4) - unique
3. Scone ($2) - flakey & buttery
4. Pandan cake ($2) - strong flavour & moist
5. Lemon Pistachio Rose cake ($3) - refreshing
Do try some of their minis (tea cakes) at the hawker stall before deciding which loafs to order!
(btw, the $13 half banana loaf seems smaller than getting $12 worth of banana minis)
