Chose the turkey sub with honey mustard. I really love turkey sub because it is healthy and nice, honey mustard is one of the best dressings around. The bread is soft and nice, making it really amazing to eat. However, I feel that it is very expensive and till now I'm not sure how their pricing system works.
Bought it at a small bakery at the HDB block at Jalan Jurong Kechil. Priced reasonably at $1.30 compared to all those breads sold at more well known bakeries. Additionally, this bakery produces a wide range of breads and other food such as waffles and cakes. Very amazing! This bread is soft and fluffy, look at the air in it. The fillings given were sufficient and sweet and I loved it a lot. One of the best yam breads that I have tasted!! Certainly would love to try others they have to offer and its just so affordable and worth it!
Took this ovaltine drink with grass jelly and at 50% sugar. Personally felt that it wasn't strong enough in the chocolate flavour and that it was not sweet enough. Definitely not as nice as milo but I am a Horlicks fan. The chocolate taste in Ovaltine was faint and did not taste as well as I had expected. Disappointed with it!
$2.50. Extremely cheap and good food and I really love this store very much due to its good service and speed, at the same time, maintaining the quality of the food they prepare. The ban mian is one of the best in school, not too hard and not too soft in texture. The yolk was running and definitely one of the most shiok things in this dish! Always love eating this dish and just drinking the soup as well. My comfort food.
$4.50. This cup of cappuccino didn't have the latte art that I would have liked but this one looks rather interesting as well. There was just a faint taste of bitterness in the coffee which made it wonderful and pleasant to drink. Amazing cup of coffee in the morning!
$17. The portion size was just right and definitely worth it because of the element of smoked salmon. Changed my 2 poached eggs to scrambled eggs. Under the bed of scrambled eggs lie lots of corn, potato hash, spinach as well as avocado hash. I would recommend that you eat the smoked salmon together with the potato and sweet corn because the saltiness of the salmon complements well with the sweetness of the corn. If you were to take the salmon alone, you may find it rather salty. The dish was plated very well and the scrambled egg was done perfectly, a rich blend of creamy eggs. This cafe is located at Bukit Timah Saddle Club and would be troublesome to find for people who do not know where it is. Vibrant and good scenery, when you go into the cafe, there isn't any smell of horses and it was very cooling!! Fantastic place to go for a peaceful and quiet time at a cafe.
For the price of $6.80, I got two scoops of ice cream in a huge waffle cone. That is extremely affordable. Just talking about the waffle cone, it was the biggest that I have ever seen, it was crunchy and also very crisp. Perfect waffle cone that I tasted, definitely made me feel as though I was in heaven. I choose the 2 scoops of ice cream, called Horlicks Ball and Sexy Me. It was a combination of horlicks and black sesame ice cream. The employee at this outlet was friendly and very nice, also gave me two huge scoops of ice cream. The black sesame taste was strong and distinct. The horlicks was just perfect and there were chocolate balls in the ice cream to complement with the taste of the horlicks. There can be so many good things that I can rave about this ice cream, because it was wonderful. Recommended for every ice cream lover and choose 2 scoops for maximum satisfaction, simply cheap and affordable. Will definitely go back for more.
