Matcha latte was pre-made and stored in fridge. Taken out and warmed in the kitchen. Dunno why the cup was not full, which was ok, cos it was very very sweet and I stop drinking after 2 sips. Despite the sugar, it was thick and smooth, with good matcha taste.
Just one size available. Cold and refreshing.
I asked for Kopi Siu Siu Dai. They translated it as Kopi with very little sugar. Same thing. This was really good. Their cooked food comes from Raffles hotel kitchen and they specialize in coffee and pastries. This was definitely one of the best coffee I have tasted. Beat my fav Toast Box hands down. But it’s $7... I definitely wanna return to try their pastries.
Beautiful atas cafe with friendly servers. The tables were widely spaced apart but could still get noisy when full house. Come early on weekends to grab a table. They are opening another branch in Sentosa soon. They don’t accept Love Dining card cos they are not part of Raffles Hotel but right now they offer discount to hotel guests.
This one came from Raffles Hotel kitchen. The stock used was flavorful. Chili was not spicy but quite tasty. A lot of sotong used. And the tiger prawns were fresh. But I could get better for 1/6 the price. Still, I was satisfied, bcos I like to eat atmosphere too. And this cafe was really nice.
This one came from Raffles hotel kitchen. The gravy was thin and watery. Quite bland, as if too much water was added to the spice paste. Lukewarm, which really annoyed me. I feedback to the server when I was paying my bill. He was friendly and offered profuse apologies. I smiled and left, but somehow I didn’t feel better, prob bcos I just paid $25++ for lukewarm watery Laksa.
The original was already slightly spicy, so I was really looking forward to the chili version. And yes it really hit the right spot. Full bodied spicy Tonkotsu soup was absolutely delicious. I slurped up every drop and wanted more. Koumi pork rib was 👍🏻. I hope this new dish is permanently on their menu.
This was a new item, and since I didn’t want to eat ramen, this seemed perfect. I didn’t like it. Too bland for me. And the rice was on the soggy side, which meant zero wok hei. I think the colorful vege will appeal to kids. At least the koumi pork rib was yummy.
Delightfully juicy inside, with crispy skin outside. Really good.
I was actually confronted by a server for declining tea when I was almost ending my meal. She said it was compulsory for diners to have tea, and the next time she will charge me even if I don’t wanna drink tea. And if I don’t want tea, I need to get water which is chargeable as well. Then she snatched away the unopened wet towels without further explanation and stalked off. I was utterly shocked by this rude interruption. I mean, couldn’t she have just told me while I was paying the bill instead of pouncing on me while I was still eating? I guess there won’t be a next time.
Was recommended this by the server when I asked abt their fries. I thot they forgot the Parmesan when it arrived but I was assured it was mixed inside already. Not very hot, despite the 15 min wait. They used air fryer for this. Very generous with the truffle oil. Most of the fries were glistening with it, and there was a small pool at the bottom of the bowl. Really nice. I actually prefer this to PS cafe’s. Good price for this good quality. The bowl was deep, so quantity was good too.
Pretty small cup but taste ok. On the bitter side.
This was free with Burpple beyond. I asked for the marinara sauce to be changed to cream sauce. The sauce came with mushrooms inside, which was fine with me. Meatballs were juicy and well seasoned. Quite dry beneath the layer of cheese. But tasted good overall.
This was a huge disappointment to me, cos the egg inside was barely cooked. Mushroom was big and very juicy. Bread was rock hard and cold. I asked for bacon to be omitted. No substitute, so they gave me more salad.
