Comes in $5/$7 sizes.

Sides were made fresh in batches so service might be slow and queue might be long. Rice is a mouthful of textures and green gravy adds fragrance to the brown rice.

If you feel like eating clean, I would say this is a pretty good option.

With special purple rice!
And salmon sashimi came in super thick fresh slices. Definitely a healthier alternative to white rice πŸ˜‹

Price is on the steeper side and location is a short walk from Hillview Mrt. Worth a visit if you're near the vacinity! 🍣😍 Sushi is always a good idea.

Hands down my favouritest salmon mentai roll.

Mentai sauce + melted cheese + tempura bits + sublime salmon belly sashimi πŸ‘Œ

Melts in your mouth but with crispy bits! 😍 My limited vocab is not doing it justice but this maki is real shiok. Can't wait to try their spider maki next.

Crispy pork chop, fragrant curry sauce with nice soggy cabbage and not great sotong.

I hear that they've really long queue - went on a Saturday afternoon and luckily there was only about 5 people in front of us. And service is super slow so that explains the queue.

Definitely something I will eat when I'm around the area but not something I will rave about. Overall a satisfying meal but for curry rice my tastebuds well prefer Beach Road Scissors Cut Curry Rice's. πŸ˜‹ - because more side dish choices, thicker curry or basically for all reasons clogging my arteries.

Damage: 70+ for 2 diners

Had my steak medium rare and it was thinly cut and flavoured well. 🍴

Each main came with 2 sides so we ordered different sides to share plus their complimentary 🍞πŸ₯πŸ₯– basket. For sides we had - asparagus, mushrooms, truffle fries and salad. Not sure what they used for salad dressing but it was pretty good! πŸ₯—πŸ’₯ The other sides were kind of normal to me, nothing to hype about.

The lamb was good too, soft and evening cooked on the inside. I would definitely recommend the lamb over the steak though just because it has more variety on the plate. 🍽

Ambience is surprisingly noisy considering it's on the upper floors of Ngee Ann City. Service is limited and slow but tolerable.

First things first they've healthier choice options like changing your white rice to brown rice/tofu for free which I appreciate! On top of that, each order comes with a complimentary cup of chicken soup and you can choose the spiciness level from 1 to 5.

I love spicy and I try to choose healthier options so I went for tofu base and level 4 curry. It was not spicy at all - which is terribly disappointing. Pork katsu was normal but there was some chewy thing in it that's alittle challenging to bite and break - could be the skin or fats? Idk. But that was not pleasant and cutlet tasted normal.

Honestly I had above average expectations since this place is new and all but I've to say coco ichibanya's curry rice gives me much more satisfaction.

Tried their new item this festive season. πŸ¦€

Soft shell crab were not soggy and it's actually alittle tough and not flavourful in my opinion. The broth was nice and the egg was well done. Always liked their ramen noodles because it's usually on the softer side.

Probably will not order this again but I'll definitely go back for their usual items on the menu. πŸ₯

Rice nicely flavoured, onsen egg is good, chicken is cooked just nice - though I think the skin could be crisper. Also on top of the normal selection of condiments, there're extras like tonkatsu and teriyaki sauces! Not a huge fan of carbs myself so I'm loving the ratio of toppings : rice. Extra garnishes like seaweed, spring onion and scallions adds texture to this don. But because it's located between offices, the place gets really noisy during lunch hours.

I had the salmon mentai don and wow was the salmon goood. It's so soft and when it melts on your tongue with the mentai sauce it feels like cuddles with my tongue 😍

Plus there's no gst and service charge πŸ™Š I would definitely travel to bugis for this πŸ’˜ and I'll probably keep eating this whenever I'm in bugis 🀣

This bowl of ramen is made of whole wheat flour in chicken and fish stock.

The ramen has quite a distinctive wheat taste and it does look light brownish instead of the normal yellow/pale yellow ramen. The soup has a strong garlic taste and personally I don’t quite enjoy it.

The flavoured egg was good and the meat was alright. Ramen came in a huge portion but it makes me a little sick when I was halfway through it.

I wouldn’t say it’s bad but this ramen is not my type of men.

There’s only 3 flavours on the menu and your bowl of ramen is quite customisable. You can choose the softness of your noodles, flavour profile and even how much oil - which I really appreciate.

The noodles were really soft (because I opted for soft noodles) and I love it. The egg was soft and nice but the meat is alittle bit dry but the thinness kinda made up for it. Also you get to enjoy free flow beansprouts and corn!

I would probably return again! πŸ’›

Heard a lot about this long running ramen place and since I eat a lot of ramen I thought it'll be a sin not to try this. So here're my 5 cents worth:

Soup is flavourful but on the saltier side. You can't choose the hardness/softness of your noodles like in Keisuke but they're soft and just nice. Meat is too thick for me and actually a little dry and tough to chew. Egg as you can see, looked like someone took a few bites around it after peeling them and dump it in my bowl.

Actually overall it's quite alright but what does it say of a ramen place if they can't serve a decent looking egg? Inconsistency perhaps?
