They serve burgers, pastas, fries, basically fusion western food. The burger I had was the tempeh rendang burger, and it was slightly spicy; how rendang should be.
Yes, you can request your buns to be switched from regular to lettuce wrapped by the way. And all dine-in burgers and pasta ordered come with a small shot of fruit vinegar.

nomVnom also pledged to reduce their plastic straw usage and will only give biodegradable straws if requested, effective 21 September 2018 at both the Clarke Quay and Tai Seng branches, as well as the soon-to-be-closing-down @cozycornersg (Cozy Corner will be closing effective 11 November 2018). The current nomVnom will relocate from Basement One to Level 3 effective December 2018. Will miss this cosy spot, but hope the soft toys will move upstairs too…

Then, progressing to chee cheong fun in both original style and with curry, with the rice noodle chopped by hand just before serving. Ending the meal with Kaya Planta toast. The milk coffee is simply addictive with its rich sweet flavour, removing that roasted coffee bitterness entirely.
Restoran Sin Yong Loong is certainly one of the to-go places for breakfast in Ipoh!

I am always glad when I am able to enjoy affogato with some vanilla ice cream (my favourite flavour). This is the Classic White, served with: vanilla ice cream, vanilla sponge cake, white chocolate streusels, topped with La Tazza. It was a different take on the classic affogatos I am used to, but it worked well! And certainly enjoyed the addition of the strausels and spongecake bits.
OT: They accept customers who want to use reusable takeaway cups for their coffee. .

Call me old-fashioned or classic, but for me, you can’t go wrong with vanilla ice-cream and truly enough, Creamier’s handcrafted vanilla went well with the brewed coffee. Was not disappointed at all! The only qualm would just be the crowds that surprisingly come in even after 3:00 P.M. on a Friday! This is also my weekly treat, of course coupled with walks and regular exercises…lah.

Classic - also the vibes Toa Payoh gives, as the first town progressively planned and developed by the Housing Development Board (the public housing statutory board of Singapore). Creamier is conveniently located at Block 128 of Lorong 1 Toa Payoh, not too far to walk to Caldecott or Braddell MRT stations (I tried from Braddell, not from Caldecott yet). Creamier also has pledged to give discounts to customers who BYO cups or tupperware for ice-creams (especially during peak periods), and also do not give plastic straws but, if requested they will provide straws to customers.

I also love their collaborations with @epigrambooks (not framed) and @oicsingapore to make the café more lively and artsy despite the cosy shop unit.

If you look closer, you’d see me attempting some rough sketches I did at Creamier, something I do to relax. It can be therapeutic, though yes, self-enrichment/help/comfort techniques differ person-to-person. And, my trusty magnetic bookmark bought from a vendor from Ipoh at @samasamaperak @konghengsquareartisanmarket (forgot which vendor, so if you do find out do tag her).

Big spaces, and comfortable seating makes the place more ideal to bring a friend. Ordered the cappuccino, and enjoyed the roasted coffee beans. With ay seats available, and wireless internet available, was able to drink in peace.
Also for those who intend to do takeaway and iced drinks and do not wish to use their disposable cups, they do accept BYO cups, though unfortunately I forgot to remember the sizes. But why takeaway when you can chill and dine in, right? .

@percolatecoffee offers amazing coffees, teas, and even all-day main courses.

Photographed here is the duck breast congee: smoked duck breast, brown rice congee with mixed grains, braised peanuts and prawn crackers for the main, which was really a nice healthier version of a popular dish, the congee (rice porridge), where the duck and peanuts complemented each other so well.

To also appreciate their wonderful premium tea by A.Muse Projects @amuseprojects , I took the Kukicha tea, green tea from Shizuoka, Japan. Now this tea, has the nice but not overpowering taste that some green teas have and it was soothing for the throat at the time.

I love the service here as well, and would really recommend this as one place to visit in the heart of Bedok (not to be confused with Heartbeat at Bedok because that’s a 5 minutes walk away from Percolate). Also side note: Their refillable complimentary water are stored in old glass bottles, love the reuse of such items that can be reused again and again! .

The decor is interesting, as well as their cute cut fruit design coasters.
Photographed here is the Ipoh White Milk Tea, with some honey and infused with lemon. The first and only in Ipoh. They managed to capture the essence of a milk tea, and also allowed me to enjoy it without added sugars from elsewhere. To add on, they also remembered not to give me a plastic straw!
One of those places I really would recommend to those who want to chill. The only drawback is, there's no wireless for customers in this café. Perhaps it means more self-care time and also more chit-chat with your dining companion, hey? 😉

But, I also love their tea range, using tea from Gryphon Tea Company. Photographed here is me pouring the Yuzu Pear Blossom Tea from the teapot to my tea cup. It has a very refreshing and calming taste, without being too sweet but giving the throat a nice sense of relief.

The tea appreciator in me gives bonus points for the tea leaves being loose in the cute little teapot. But always wondering if they get these as loose leaf tea tisanes ? 🤔

I went to Two Hana with my mother by chance, as we were seeing where to eat at Century Square. The seating and the ambience at Two Haha was great. We were greeted very warmly by service staff when we dined that day.
We ordered the following items: Honey Soy Yachae Bibimwrap, Seafood Mandi with Tteokkbokki Cheese Sauce, Honey Butter Drumlets, Iced Latte, a Cappuccino, and the cake we got (forgot its name). A short and sweet review - the honey butter drumlets were amazing and sweet, the Yachae Bibimwrap didn't disappoint and I did not regret yachae-ing up my meal, the Tteokkbokki with cheese was not bad but it was above average. The cake was nice even with the pink floss. Price was very decent since we went during their opening promotion, where we got $1 for the second drink. Coffee was not too sweet and was worth the value we received it.

I'm only more peeved at disposable single-use cups or containers being used as well as availability of plastic straws at a new venue. Making its special appearance is my bamboo straw from @bamboostrawgirl, as I did not want to use a single-use plastic straw. For refilling water, they give single-use cups so I reused my KeepCup. I am hopeful that things can change, since I am glad food is usually served on boards, or plates with proper cutlery.
Two Hana is expected to be halal-certified soon as well, like their parent Seoul Garden is.

When I received a positive reply about bringing my own bottle for the teas, I decided to go try them out. The careful and attentive staff who served me wanted to make sure it was alright even if the drink size was less than the bottle capacity (500ml drink size while bottle is 750ml). I ordered a Rose Pu-Er Cream Cloud tea. The cream cloud is essentially similar to milk foam.
The tea barista wanted to ensure I was ok with the drink capacity before pouring the milk foam, of which he instructed me to drink the foam first before drinking the tea. I drank with the tea through my bottle's bite valve and straw, which sucks up the tea first. So I opened the lid and drank from there, as if it was like a cup. I successfully drank the cream cloud before the tea.
On that extremely hot day, the cream cloud complemented the rose and pu-er well. I felt refreshed and hydrated.
Hi Tea also lets you smell their tea leaves at the counter so that customers can choose which brewed tea they would like.

They're currently located at Far East Plaza and Northpoint City.
