Priced from $38, $48, $68, this fish head steamboat uses the premium dragon grouper fish that the main branch does not offer. The fish meat was really thick and worth it's money. However, as this is a different fish, the taste is slightly different from what one is generally expecting. I still enjoyed it's flavorful soup that was sweet and had my favorite flatfish!

Similar to the concept of Blackball's, nine fresh sells deserts at a much affordable price. It has the refreshing taste as it not only offers glass jelly version but also ai yu jelly. It has the Singaporean taste rather than a Taiwanese one which I don't really mind as the latter proved to be a little too sweet at times. I do hope that in the future they serve up warm deserts though as I can't really deal with cold food for now.

At $7.90 before service charges and taxes, this expensive fishball noodles proved itself to be of worth 8 stars out of 10. The noodles were well cooked, it had no starchy taste and chili was acceptable. The fishballs were of those traditional ones where they are a little salty. Fish cakes were okay and I enjoy tasting the freshness of it. Price tag was not to be complained as what you are paying for is mostly the venue and service that they are providing, in overall the service level that I experienced was pretty high!

Finally it's my turn at this lobster restaurant. Personally I wasn't a fan of their lobster roll as I realized that I didn't really like cold items. The grilled lobster was really good though, the freshness of the lobster was just pure pleasure. However, I wished the lobster was a little bit bigger or more generous as I still left the place a little unsatisfied. A little too pricey for me, but sure those fresh lobsters have been shipped all the way from the States and its quality assured. Maybe I will visit it again when I get really richer.

Ordered the roasted duck, roasted pork and char siew. The char siew had so much fatty meat that it felt so sinful with its amazing homemade sauce that tasted similar to the likes of a honey vinegar sauce. Roasted duck was really decent but what really stood out was its roasted pork. The roasted pork skin had such a nice crispy taste to it such that when dipped with the chilli sauce given, it gave me such a great kick! I was also deeply surprised by its wasabi flavored sauce!

This dish came in a sticky dark broth filled with mushrooms and dried scallops along with the well stir fried dou miao. The dou miao(pea sprouts) were crunchy and delicious and enjoyable to eat. The broth was not too sweet or salty, I savored every bit of it and enjoyed the generous amount of dried scallops that was given. Certainly bringing my family back here for another meal again!

For truffle lovers, this is a must try. Many places offer truffle fries as an entree and even McDonald jumped onto the bandwagon with its shaker fries. However, at the Betterfield, you get the real deal. Not only truffle oil was used, real and solid bits of truffle can be seen from the sauce provided. This is the most amazing truffle fries I have tried I will certainly be back again for my truffle fix!

Despite having a long queue and a unique "shout your number" system. The noodles were disappointing and a letdown. The wanton was also pretty average and nothing to boast of. Only the char siew was slightly better than the ones I have had, with a little sweeter and tender taste to it. Would rather eat the laksa served right beside it next time.

In Cantonese it's called hot dog sized rice noodles??? I have no idea what was it exactly but I ate it all. It was a cheap meal costing less than 2 sgd per bowl and it was filled with the the Cai Po similar to Singapore's version. However there was one difference that did not appear in this picture. There was a red version Cai Po that was freaking spicy and up for unlimited refill right on the table. It was so spicy that I cannot even take much of it at one go. I will be back to challenge it again!

Being the bee Hoon lover, I just had to try this at the monastery. I was blown away by it as it exceeded my expectations completely. I did not even add any special curry sauce but just basic Cantonese sweet sauce and I could finish up everything in 3 minutes! If I'm back I am sure to eat it

The only dish that stood out from the rest. Basically it felt like pineapple bun with char siew in it. It was quite a good mix of juicy char siew and a crispy bun. Not gonna queue for it again though!
