House-made unique kimchi with mangalitsa pork belly, tofu, onion and scallion. This dish is one of my favorites with their kimchi and pork belly going so well together. It can get a little spicy so not recommended for people who cannot take spicy food. The tofu and spam when eaten together! gives two different textures in one bite!
Their unique house made tofu chips with avocado and kimchi flavored sauce. It gets more and more addictive as you dip those well fried chips into the special sauces given! An interesting dish to try in Joo bar!
Deep fried baby eel with lime. Finger food for those who likes to munch along while drinking!
A sea blue drink having a blend of Joo brew, tanqueray No. 10 Peachtree schnapps and Blue Curaçao gives a strong blueberry like alcoholic taste to it. Particularly nice but only for those who drinks a lot!
Haven't paid a visit to awfully chocolate since enlistment. Now that I'm no longer in green, they have changed much, they have opened up so many branches overseas that their chocolates can be found in 7 11s abroad. Though it's a little pricey at $8.90 for a cup of hot chocolate, the quality is there. Even when you eat their cakes with their hot chocolate, you can still taste the distinct flavors in them. Compared to other chocolate serving cafes, I still think awfully chocolate is one of the best ones out there!
Had this in a family dinner, it was quite interesting to see how the Cantonese eats this small crab. It's crab roe is what that makes it so desirable!
I have no idea what is its english name, it's sweet and has the texture of a toufu. If one doesn't want to queue for Australian dairy company, this can be your alternative choice.
Although this bowl of Mee Sua cannot be compared to those of Taiwan's. It is quite decent and good for its price!
It is certainly an experience all should try! With 8 different flavors and somehow by the 8th one I was about to be full! (especially liked the truffle flavor!)
Particularly liked the red Ruby, can't take much milk personally though...
A common Thai dish, it's better the ones I had in touristy PHUKET, this is less oily and more tasty!
Beef can be served to any degree of rareness desired. Pretty nice way to eat a steak!
