This might be my 200th plate that I have ate from this stall and during my national service of two years I have ate here at least 30 times, it's noodles and chili go so well together that I couldn't resist ordering a bigger portion every time. But recently I realized that to have the most balanced taste, the small portion of $3 does the trick! The wontons aren't fanciful, but it's dumplings are slightly different with them using black fungus as one of the key ingredients which makes them unique from others! As it is located near the Ubi industrial area, it's not recommended to go during lunchtime, but it opens till 6pm and there isn't much crowd after lunchtime. The stall has been around for 20 odd years and it managed to retain and maintain the taste from before with my father feeding it to me since young till a grown adult now. :)

After seeing so many recommendations about this stall I decided to drop by to have a bowl while I was waiting for my medicine to be dispensed from the nearby polyclinic. The soup was decent and beef balls were tasty. It would have been better if I had added those chili flakes and the sweet and spicy chilli but I had to hold back as my stomach wasn't feeling very well. Overall, it's a good $4.50 well spent. Comfort food indeed.

This dish is something that only my grandma can cook and it is really a simple dish that consists of fried pig skin, and this dark green veggie that I have no idea how to identify (sorry). Usually I have it with the sambal belachan and gosh it's shiok!

At $3, this wonton mee comes with at least 5 wontons and the stall owner gives generous portions of char siew along with the green veggies and makes sure you leave with a full stomach. Personally, I love the sauces he use and also their unique blend of chili, before national service I would drop by this stall every day before it go for my part time job. One side though, that the uncle shows so much dedication in his noodles to make every bowl right he can take up to 5 minutes to serve that one bowl of noodles. I have tried waiting 45 minutes for it during peak hours. I recommend to have a try during the off peak hours and it will be still as good!

It consists of orange, avocado, kalamanta olives, fennel and herb vinaigrette dressing! So many different tastes in a dish, even though it's nice but in quite confused what I have really eaten.

It's made up of chunks of beef, salmon, (unknown fish), venison and pork belly!! They were all well marinated and goes very well with the cheese fondue and the sauces provided!

It also provides an experience to eat out in the nature, of course for those who are willing to brave the Singapore heat!

My fren ordered this excellent fish and chips that has this garlic sauce which just blew me away. He gave me some to eat with my noodles and I can say it tasted quite well together!

At $3, this is just too good for the wallet and the tummy. First, the chili is amazing, second, each plate of noodles are well cooked to the state that the taste was evenly spread throughout the dish!

A lamb drumstick was served with fries and apricot. Dipped in this delicious chili oil was how my fren broke fast with me!
