Huge pork cutlet which was so satisfying! However, the portion of rice is a bit small to finish the meat with, and I wish the sauce had been placed separately as it quickly turned the crispy fried batter soggy.

Service here is great, and they offer unlimited banchan and tea!

This was overflowing with sautéed mushrooms and the chunks of Brie were very satisfying. I also liked the mustard that provided some acidic kick to each bite. However the butteriness of the croissant was lost in all that flavour, so this is not for those who are looking to enjoy a simple buttery croissant.

This was so delicious! I was impressed that the patty was a perfect medium rare and I could taste the freshness of the ground beef - none of that processed stuff here. The Gorgonzola provided a great funkiness to contrast the familiar tastes of a beef burger. I also liked the side ‘salad’ which is really just the veges that would otherwise have been inside the burger (2 slices of pickles, tomato and onion).

Please read my other review on the meats.

Similarly, the dips are good but they gave too few pita bread to mop everything up. Had to reorder pita which was more expensive and smaller in quantity as the pita served with the platter. 🥲

The platter consisted of:
1x lamb skewer
1x beef skewer
1x sausage
a few pieces of chicken thigh
a smattering of roasted potatoes
onion, tomato and tzaiziki

Suffice to say that we felt completely ripped off, especially because our first choice had been the a la carte meat dishes but we were told that they were unavailable and we had to purchase the platter if we wanted any meat. I thought that was slightly suspicious but didn’t make a big deal out of it until I saw the meagre portion of meat on the platter - we felt completely played! 🤡

The meats are all right but I would not revisit because this feeling of being scammed left me very bitter toward the restaurant.

At 7.30am, this was the only bread ‘loaf’ available so I took what I could. Love the crisp bread crust but it is a real pain to slice at home!

I liked the interesting mix of dried fruit used - oranges, mango and cranberries are just some of the fruits I found in the loaf! Do note that the bread goes stale after a day, so you’d have to finish it fast.

Very small and dense scone with the trademark bite of figs incorporated in the scone batter. The wine is very subtle. Overall, it was pleasant to eat but lacked the light butteriness that I prefer in scones.

Super generous with the olives but the crust wasn’t as crispy as I’d like.

The dense bagel was unfortunately made soggy from all the fat in the scrambled egg, so it was not a very pleasant texture and perhaps a bad combination of bagel – I had a very different experience with their other bagel combinations so perhaps just take this as a recommendation NOT to get scrambled eggs with no other filling that can soak up the butter / oil.

This was really spicy but I was impressed with the generous serving of seafood — super plump squid rings and prawns!

This is a biased review as this is the ONLY lor mee I have ever eaten as the starchy gravy scares me to death. To my delight, the gravy here is light from the generous amount of vinegar and chilli mixed in and I had no problems finishing every bit of it. I even had to stop myself from drinking the gravy on its own….

Gravy-aside, the sliced fish chunks were also great and I like that they present you an option of the various type of noodles you’d like. The only downside is the hour-long queue!
