Relatively big portions but taste-wise decent enough. Maybe I was unlucky but there was this smelly oil taste which made everything less enjoyable. Their coleslaw actually stood out for me.
Might be back to try their fish & chips which has more good reviews…

Probably the crispest prata I had in Tampines! Both prata had the right balance of crisp and chewiness, which went superbly well with their curries. The owner was kind enough to serve us 2 different curry at first - fish & mutton. When I ordered 2 more kosong prata, he passed me some chicken curry to try too. YAY!
Can’t wait to be back again to have more prata and try their other dishes too!
Finally here to try this since their queue is always long during lunch hours!
The mee kia was slightly overcooked for my liking but the flavours and pork lard made up for it. The soup was really robust and came with lean meat, pork liver, homemade fish dumplings, fish maw and even fried ti poh.
Will be back again when the craving strikes…
Based on the coffee notes and origin, you can choose your desired coffee blend. Depending on what you select, some is priced at SGD7.
Got their Bom Sucesso - maple syrup, cacoe nibs, almond. Love it, will definitely be back to try other blends!
As you can see, the portion was really miserable. Less than 5 thin slices of char siew and not much duck meat too. The main selling point of this stall is probably their unique black sauce + spicy sambal chilli that made everything more tasty.
Didn’t realise that their Google Reviews rating is a fail (2.2⭐️). Will not return…
For those who didn’t know, 泡 (pào) means submerge while 饭 (fàn) means rice. Unlike porridge/congee, @chefwaipoachedrice is cooked separately from the rich seafoody prawn broth that’s made with a truckload of fresh prawn heads. Each bowl of pao fan also comes with deep-fried shredded egg floss & crisp golden rice puffs for that elevated mouthfeel.😋
Serving affordable pao fan from SGD8.90 onwards, here’s what we ordered...
👉Superior Lobster Pao Fan - SGD19.90
👉Emperor Mixed Seafood Pao Fan - SGD11.90
Finally found the legit King of Pao Fan, go give this a try if you haven’t! And did you know they have a noodle option too... 泡面?!?

Probably not deserving of a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food-King Good title.
No lard at all but surprisingly, there’s chye poh in this plate of CKT. You can expect to find about 5-6 pieces of hum. Although there isn’t any wokhei, it’s still a decent plate of CKT to satisfy ur cravings!
You can actually choose the version/sauce you want… White, Black or Red. As you can see, I ordered their White version to try for the first time.
Glad that they gave quite a fair bit of ingredients and the texture of noodles were on point too! Will surely be back again to try other dishes that they sell…

@pigscanfly.sg caught my eye and I decided to try their Lechon Belly Roll Rice Plate with Watercress Salad, Lettuce & Cucumber. Paying SGD12.80 for this can be pretty steep but heng their lechon didn’t disappoint.👍

You probably can’t see but there’s actually mock pork belly slices in this pot too! On top of the generous portion of ingredients, I’m glad that the broth was really comforting and tasty too. To make things even better, they provided a portable Japanese stove to keep the sukiyaki pot boiling hot!👍
