Bara Chirashi and Avocado Soft Crab Shell Maki from Chirashi Tei located at 5th level of 313 @ Somerset within the Food Republic premises.
The Bara Chirashi was adequate for only $9.90 nett (U.P. $19.90 for Chirashi set), but I wouldn't mind paying more for premium quality.
Came on a Thursday and enjoyed the salmon sashimi promo.
It goes for 5 slices for $3 and I must say you really get a bang for your buck. Ordered 40 slices for my friend and myself and the Gohan set which consists of a miso soup, hot tea and a bowl of piping hot rice.
Salmon sashimi was no doubt fresh, so sinful and silky. Bonus points for being thickly cut but not too thick such that it is a mouthful.
Highly recommended but do take note that only the Queen Street outlet has the lunch and dinner time promo while the other 2 has the dinner time one.
Thick, smooth and intense, the matcha custard had the distinct fragrant bitterness characteristic of the tea, balanced with just a hint of sugar — the epitome of bittersweet. Probably the result of using really premium matcha powder though, as Dulcet & Studio shared they're still deciding if this Matcha Cream Puff is cost effective enough to be a mainstay. Good news is miniature versions are now sold at The1872 Clipper Tea Co stores, so you can still get your fix while praying Dulcet & Studio brings this larger one back for good!
A prime example of an item that looks pretty but is actually mediocre. The coffee itself was nothing special, and the accompanying cotton candy was just your normal run of the mill kind. Looks pretty but I think you would be better off with a normal cup of coffee.
Choco brownie Bingsu at o'ma spoon is definitely a must try for new beginners. Very rich with Oreo flakes as well as milk , bananas and brownies, you can never go wrong with this. The only downside though it's the price. For $18.90, it's a great share for 2-3 people. Will definitely come back for more 😋
Try their full English breakfast($16) with a cup of espresso($4.50) of 5oz recommended. Very cosy and quite a good place to dine in at non-peak hours.
I was about to write a review, then realised that no number of adjectives could do justice to the food that the photo already didn't. I can't recall having a bad thing at Shin Kushiya.
"Pytt I panaa "was the choice to go simply because it has dried potatoes with beef along with salad on the side. The Beef tasted really good and juicy and it's really worth a good "starter" meal for a beginner who's dining for the first time at Fikah cafe. Otherwise, opt for their meatballs. You will never go wrong with that.:)
I Love Fika my favorite haunt 😍
This new bakery-cafe totally got me excited with their scrumptious baked goods, pretty presentation and competitive pricing. This is Matcha Brioche ($3.20) made with Japanese wheat flour, French butter, key ingredients and pure matcha imported from Shizuoka prefecture of Japan, known for producing the finest tea.
Just a day away from their opening on 29th April at 557 Bukit Timah Road where you will be treated to a wide selection of baked variables and all day-breakfast.
Simply spend above $5 dollar during the promotional period to enjoy their 27-layer croissant for only a dollar. Full review on www.alainlicious.com
If you're looking for a hipster cafe to visit, this is a must go! They serve nice dishes like B.O.B and salted egg calimari. This is considered their top choice in the cafe! Go along with their hot espresso with milk or ice latte to make a great catch up session with your friends :) worth every penny!
