No matter how many dumplings I've tried in Singapore, nothing tastes close to this. No big succulent prawn here, only marinated minced pork, enveloped by thin dumpling skin. I always eat mine dry, with only lard and tangy-chilli, and spammed with lots of over-night-marinated mushrooms. Comfort food passed down from my parents' generation.
