Unlike most of the Soft Shell Crab I tried, their is Huge and I can taste the meat! Love the idea that they serve it with sweet potatoes fries rather than the usual French fries.

Instead of the regular fish fillet burger, Olivia and Co offered the soft shell crab burger. Crispy batter and soft-soft crab. The coleslaw helped to reduced the heaviness of the deep fried crab. However, for me to finish up this burger, I would need to muster all my "appetite".
Named after Sir Stamford Raffles' first wife, Olivia Cassivelaun Facourt (also the same guys behind OCF), this casual dining is a great place for family and friends with food inspired from Olivia's adventures around the world - burgers with Japanese influences, Vietnamese bahn mi, Italian pastas etc. My favorites of the night was definitely the chicken wings for the variety of flavours, soft shell crab burger and the spring chicken which wasn't as tender as I'd like but I loved the wasabi mash!

Arguably my favorite dish at Olivia & Co's tasting, the Quayside Soft Shell Crab Burger is an interesting fusion of Japanese and western cuisines and it represents O&C's food philosophy of creating flavor packed, fun fusion food very well.
The skillfully tempura'd soft shell crab was sat upon a bed of savory sesame slaw that helped to bring out the mild flavors of the soft shell crab. As for the crab itself, it was rather mild tasting but it was crunchy and meaty without being overly oily. As a matter of fact, none of us noticed any grease from the soft shell crab. The jalapeño mayonnaise that's applied liberally to both the top and bottom brioche buns, which O&C bakes in-house for maximum flavor and quality control, brings satisfying amounts of savoriness and creaminess to the burger. This stellar combination of elements will, without a doubt, take you straight to Flavortown.
