The whole self-service concept of this place reminded me of the local udon chains that I’ve been to in Japan! ☺️ An affordable and fuss-free kind of meal.
Had the 1-for-1 beef & onsen egg udon + tempura + drink set ($14) so it was very affordable indeed for a meal in town.
I’ve become a huge fan of udon after visiting Japan and this place didn’t let me down! The udon noodles are chewy and soaked up the right amount of soup. The soup was pretty refreshing as well! Sukiyaki beef was good, onsen egg was nothing out of the ordinary. Really liked the fact that I could add the spring onions and tempura bits myself too!
Tempura was pretty mediocre though, but I’m generally not much of a tempura fan anyway.
